Chapter 2 - 2 A Tour It Is

The following morning, I awoke to Victor's speaker playing loud music. Although Scott was annoyed by the noise, he was fortunate to wake up early so that he could get ready for Justin's arrival.

Scott's room shortly saw the arrival of Justin. Additionally, Scott's roommates assured him that they would give him a seat in the cafeteria during their break since they had covered so much ground the previous evening.

Justin and Scott traveled on the tour. The library was the first place they went, and despite how restless he was at the time, Scott was glad to go.

As they made their way around the library, Justin showed him every nook and cranny. Scott became inspired when Justin showed him where the magic books were located since he was about to achieve greatness in the school, which would begin in that library.

Then, out of the blue, Scott asked Justin, "Where can I locate the sexiest women in this school?" but Justin waved to a friend he was passing by instead.

Their next visit was to the cafeteria, which was empty at the time they passed because it wasn't yet lunchtime, but Scott could imagine a sizable crowd given how huge the hall was.

Scott then pondered how the school might be benefiting the pupils. The reason is that he is currently unsure of what foods he likes and dislikes.

They arrived at the sports facility after moving on to the next. It was enormous; in fact, Scott was completely astounded by the facility's beauty. Was it basketball, volleyball, or another sport? Scott was aware that attending this institution was a good decision.

Finally, they arrived at the classroom building. They moved toward the class where Scott would resume his lectures, Justin leading the way and Scott following.

It was more of a vast hall with a conference room-like layout and was called the Beginner's Class. Justin remained at the door as Scott entered the classroom because he had just finished his tour guide duty.

Scott moved to the back of the room as Justin left because the class was still in session. He noticed his roommates sitting at their desks as he made his way to the back; they also noticed him, but he was unable to sit next to them because there was no room.

A girl was seated next to the desk as Scott approached it in the rear, but he was forced to sit there so as not to disrupt the class.

The teacher was introducing them to the new term they had just started, not even teaching a topic at the time. Scott had fortunately not missed anything at all.

Mr. Modred, the instructor, gave the class a task right before the lesson ended.

After giving them the assignment, he instructed them to turn it in for his following class. He then explained to the students that, at the end of the term, the top 40 students would be promoted to the following class, which was the Amateur's class.

The moment he said that the entire class fell silent since everyone was horrified to hear such frightening news just one week into the semester. Given that the assignment was due on Monday of the following week.

A large contingent of students ran after Mr. Modred as he left the classroom.

But as you are aware, there is always someone staring at you, regardless of how foolish or ugly you may appear to be. She wasn't physically bestowed upon him, but destiny continued attempting to bring the two of them together, so he turned away.

The restaurant where he was scheduled to eat his first school meal was where they eventually met.

************************************************

Scott was still trying to decide what to eat when Eunice appeared out of nowhere to introduce herself as Scott. Being the gentleman that he was, he had no choice but to introduce himself as well, and they quickly became friends. As Scott and his roommates made their way to the restaurant, they all lined up to collect their meals.

At this moment, they were just friends, nothing more, no feelings attached.

Eunice accepted Scott's invitation to join him and his roommates for a meal. They both sat down at the table with each other.

The typical subject wasn't brought up after the entrance of a lady, so they chose to discuss their most upsetting incident instead.

They began their most painful episode one by one, with Eunice taking the lead this time.

The breakup with her partner, according to Eunice, was the most agonizing experience she has ever had. She went on to say that she was innocent and that she had discovered the boy's infidelity with another girl, but that she had forgiven him because of her love for him.

She had to yell at the supposed lover repeatedly until he stopped and shut the window in their relationship.

After Eunice finished telling her story, Scott and his friends attempted to comfort her, but she retorted, "It is a thing of the past, I don't hold grudge against him anymore."

The next speaker was Adrian, who opened by quoting the phrase "A poor man is a gone man." When the exam at Forcados High was about to start, Adrian recalled.

His father lacked everything (i.e., money) for the application. Three lowly occupations were discovered for his father, which was upsetting. But even though his son's wife and the mother of his child had died, his father didn't mind putting through a lot of stress for him.

On a crucial day, Adrian's father was employed by a nobleman who afterward failed to pay the whole sum of money that had been agreed upon.

When Adrian's dad's dispute became heated, the guy signaled to his guards, who then beat Adrian's dad and wrecked the cart he uses for his night business.

He was so badly beaten by them that he was unable to move a single muscle. Adrian's father had to be carried to his home by the other vendors. When Adrian's father appeared, he sobbed profusely and the young man pledged to stand up for and guard the vulnerable.

After his narrative, Adrian concluded, "I am now on track to fulfill the promise I made back then, and I won't let anything or anyone bring me down."

Scott quickly praised Adrian for trying to keep his promise and called his story touching. Scott also commended Adrian for his efforts and encouraged him to become more resilient.

After everyone had finished discussing Adrain's aspirations and story, Logan took the lead. His hurtful experience was not what some people would consider hurtful.

Logan could have essentially had anything he desired as a child at that time thanks to his parents' abundant fortune.

He wasn't the kind to rely on his father's fortune; instead, he preferred to use magic to try to make a name for himself.

Logan's sad tale was that he received a foolish doll from his parents for his eleventh birthday, which he detested to the hilt.

When it was Victor's turn to share his story about the tragedy, he spoke without hesitation.

The others were perplexed when he said, "I destroyed the light of my house." Then Eunice remarked, "Explain better."

Victor explained, stating that when he was eleven years old, he was experimenting in his room. Well, the experiment didn't turn out as he had hoped, and as a result, the entire house's lights went out. Because he hadn't told them about the experiment beforehand, Victor's parents wasted little time in punishing the child after that happened.

That day was a day never to forget according to Victor.

As soon as Victor finished his story, his friends burst into laughter as they made fun of him. And he joined them also in laughing.

Scott's turn came and he didn't have much to say but he still talked about his tour that day. Talking about the places he saw and the people he saw.

But his friends were just staring at him as they all have seen the places he was talking about.

However, his buddies were just gawking at him because they had all been to the locations he was describing.

As soon as they had finished talking, they returned to class because their lunch break had come to an end.

Scott and his housemates sat down as soon as they entered the classroom, with Eunice joining them.

Before going to their various hostels, they attended the final lessons of the day together.
