Chapter 3 - 3 Why Me

Scott and his roommates, including Eunice, had been searching for a solution for the assignment for three days. Despite their diligent study, they were unable to solve their challenges.

That day, while they were returning to their hostel from class, a guy decided to pee Scott.

The bully in the class had the name, Gordon.

******************************************

Every class got a bully, right? You don't have in your class? You are not a student? I don't get your comment. Let's just move on.

He approached Scott and began hurling insults his way, calling him a freak with no memory of who he is. Gordon went on to say that Scott if he even has a sibling, doesn't even know where his parents and other family members are.

Scoot struck Gordon in the face as his wrath overpowered him because of what Gordon was saying.

As Gordon wiped the blood from his mouth and touched his face, he felt the impact. As Gordon led his troops out, he grinned.

As Scott and his friends walked away from the scene, his friends consoled him about what had happened.

Although Scott gave them an "it's okay" nod, he was furious.

Later that night, Scott went to the practice area to yell at the tools used for drills. Bitterly crying, he wondered why he had forgotten everything when suddenly he heard something.

He turned to see where the sound was coming from and saw Gordon and his team. Scott was aware that it was done for him.

When Gordon approached Scott, the mob had already encircled him. He responded, "You this pest dare to punch me." Despite his internal trembling at this very moment, Scott maintained his appearance of bravery.

Gordon said, "He would have reacted to what Scott did," so it was a good thing they were in the open.

Scott was instantly struck in the face by Gordon. He took a direct strike to the face, resulting in a broken nose in the process.

"You basted motherf**ker, you have no business being in this predicament. You little weakling, Gordon cried. He smacked Scott again in the middle.

At this point, Scott's only options were to either hope Gordon doesn't beat him too severely or search for a way to escape.

Just as Scott was weighing his two alternatives, he felt a kick strike him in the face. By this time, Scott's face had lost some of its earlier smoothness.

Gordon was about to give Scott another kick when Scott grabbed Gordon's leg and delivered a nutbag kick to the producer of his future kids (manhood). And with this, Scott started to run.

Gordon urged his men to pursue Scott and grab him rather than helping him up after being kicked and falling to the ground.

Scott ran quickly past the equipment and out of the training area. But because of the harm he had taken, he began to lose energy.

He was pursued by the group as they ran, and they met him on the school's football field, where they began to kick and pound him like a punching bag.

They punched him until Gordon arrived and told them to stop. Scott was on the ground, almost dead.

Gordon leaned down and took Scott's face in his hands, "You made a very big mistake crossing paths with me," he murmured. Scott spittled in Gordon's face when he heard it.

As a result, Gordon became increasingly enraged and started striking Scott.

Gordon stopped when he realized how much damage he had done to Scott's body. One of his crew members was given the order to leave right away.

As they were leaving, Scott stood up, but this time he was determined to defeat them all. He raised his head and called Gordon's name.

"Gordoonnnmm!!!!!!!".

When Gordon turned around, he said, "You don't just quit up." Scott responded, "Why would I give in to a softie". On his expression, Gordon's rage at that comment was evident.

"Yes, I've got him", Scott replied. Scott shouted as he sprinted in their direction, but after just five steps, he fainted and ached to the ground.

As he and his crew left, Gordon's outrage changed to amusement. He was taken aback.

At one o'clock that afternoon, Scott opened his eyes and saw his friends standing around him as he lay on the bed. As soon as he opened his eyes, Eunice rushed over to him and gave him a bear hug, which Scott quickly regretted due to her petite chest.

The pain he felt while trying to alter his body so that he could sit was worse than a broken heart. He retracted that action and started resting on the bed again.

When Scott said, "What did I miss?" everyone laughed. Eunice shook her head and said, "Nothing much," before going on to add that they had found the answer and had given it to the teacher.

Eunice informed Scott that it was Monday when Scott asked what day it was, implying that Scott had missed class while Mr. Modred had gone.

Scott's friends brought him food, which he happily consumed, but he was still worried because a week had passed and he had yet to see his real love.

After receiving his discharge from the school hospital, Scott was led outside by his friends.

The next day, when he came to class, he saw Gordon but looked away to avoid making eye contact with him.

Unfortunately, Gordon saw him too and came up to Scott. Gordon said, "I didn't think you'd make it, you weakling." But Adrian defended Scott, saying, "You are just a coward; he isn't a weakling."

Come to the practice field this afternoon if you are not a coward, and let's compete. I, a coward, Gordon replied while grinning. Later, Gordon reinforced this.

When Scott heard this, he told Adrian to leave the situation alone, but Adrian resisted. Adrian accepted the challenge, and Gordon left.

As Gordon was walking away, Scott and his friends started asking Adrian why he agreed to the duel. Adrian simply replied, "He almost killed my friend and again I have something to prove."

Since he felt accountable for the current situation, Scott's thoughts were uneasy as they started their lecture.

He tried to persuade Adrian to admit defeat even before they reached the battleground, but Adrian fiercely resisted.
