The waves washed away my sorrows and the wind dried my tears, while I buried my feet further into the cold sand. I turned my head to look at the raven haired man, who was drawing circles on the back of my hand, lost in his own thoughts.
"We made it okay." I whispered staring at the beautiful sight.
"I don't think we did, Violet." Hunter got up, leaving my hand, as he pursed his lips.
"What do you mean?" I swallowed hard, blinking back tears, when he took a step back away from me in disgust. "Hunter?"
"It's all your fault!" He shouted, his lips pulled up in disgust as he took another step back.
"You don't mean that." I hated the way my voice quivered at the end, as I reached out to him, but the more I moved towards him, the further we grew apart.
