My blood ran cold, watching him drop to his knees with his daughter in his arms, as she gasped for air, her hand covering the bullet wound on her stomach.
"Holy shit!" Icarus cussed from beside me, but my eyes were still on the pair on the floor.
He killed his daughter.

"How.....could.....you..." She gasped for air, staring at Vincent with bloodshot eyes.
"Shhhhh, rest now." He gently kissed her forehead, pushing a strand of her hair away from her face, "I am sorry, my daughter. I am sorry......Mary."
Her real name was Mary.
Suddenly the door burst open, with Chase rushing in, but before he could even realize what was going on, Icarus had already shot at him.
"Chase!" I screamed, struggling against the tight grip of the rope around me, on seeing him fall to the ground.
"Any more of your men come inside, and she dies next." Icarus got up from besides me, shouting at Vincent, who still sat on the floor with Mary in his arms.
