They had fantastic abilities as wolves in addition to the gift of healing. They said that they lived in forests or woods and some confuse them with nymphs. It is believed that a Peeira is just a young woman who lives with packs, guiding creative rages and disturbed spirits like werewolves. She would be a source of peace, bringing balance to a werewolf's violent nature.

According to some currents, Hecate would be a Peeira. Descended from the Titans, she was one of the most ignored myths in Greek mythology. Hecate's power extends to hell, on land and sea. She haunted the nights of the new moon and at sea, she had her loves. Sailors considered her a titular goddess and always begged her for good crossings.
It is even believed that she appears on New Moon nights with her horrible pack in front of travellers who roam the roads. She was still considered a goddess of magic and night. With her enchanting powers, Hecate could send night terrors and wraiths to mere mortals. From there appeared Ichichos and Sepultores, evil and cursed creatures to punish. Hecate still frequented places of terrible crimes and murders, thus becoming a lady of black magic.
The goddess would be a lady of the gates between the world of the living and the subterranean world of shadows. She was a conductor of souls. Older legends of her are still related to passing through the Earth at sunset, to collect the souls of the dead of that day. She was a sorceress and could not be seen by humans. She was a protector of women's independence and a defence against women's violence and oppression.
It was said that the Moiras weaved, measured and cut the threads of a mortal's life and only Hecate would have the interference in the threads of destiny. The mighty goddess had control over the secret forces of nature, being a goddess of sorcerers. A lady of the visible and the invisible. Thus a world completely mystical and hidden from humans had its emergence: Garonne.

It felt like a world destined to end. In this way, ancient legends have always portrayed the beginning of times when the race was unique and powerful. There was the most extraordinary legend among them about a sorceress who would walk among wolves.
Now sorcerers and wolves are natural enemies. We couldn't help but talk about mutated ones - an unsuccessful attempt to combat the threat of extinction that created a wild and bestial species out of control.
Many heirs of these clans, seeking salvation for their world imagined finding in human knowledge ways to prevent a tragic end. We then have a clash between different cultures. In ancient religion, women were always considered special. It was up to her the gift of procreation. This approach is quite different from the way women were treated at the time. The book reports some passages on the subject.
Finally, every good story has the girl in danger. A young woman cursed and kept anonymous. This is our main protagonist: Kassuim. We do not have as heroes a knight armed with moral principles.
The 18th century marks the end of the Modern Age in Europe. It is the century of Enlightenment. The world is the stage for events like the Enlightenment and man will witness the French Revolution. The Inquisition took place in the Middle Ages, a century before our history has a stage. But the Successrium still maintained similar techniques, spreading terror to ensure their survival and secrecy in front of humans.
Thus, also a protagonist, Richard Morgan is a man who had access to studies in Europe and surprisingly finds himself tied to the responsibility of leading the pack. He is one of the main captains of a Corsair armada that served the Successrium in controlling the laws and its Court.
