"A tribred?" I asked.
"Yes Luna. I tribred is basically 3 different creatures in one being. As long as you complete the mating process, everything will be fine. Your powers will come naturally. When they do, you must come to me at once to start your training." She instructs.
"Ok. I think I understand. I think I met the horse part. She's beautiful." I said, rethinking about all the words that Diana had told me.
She just nodded, "Nobody can know about this, not even Jack. Once you complete the process, then and only then can he know. After that, the pack can know as well, but neighboring packs and even alliances can never know. If anyone else outside of the pack house learns about what you are, you will be in great danger. You're the first of your kind. Everyone will be after you if they find out about you." she explains.
I sighed, "I understand. I have to complete the mating process before I can meet my wolf and gain my other powers."
She nodded, "yes Luna. Everything will come at you at once. It will be hard to control and you will be out of it for a few days, but you will pull through. The longer you wait to complete the process though, the stronger your elemental powers will become. You have them in yourself as we speak, but you won't have the ability to use them until then." She explains further.
I sat back on the couch and looked over at Jack who was sleeping peacefully, "What did you do to him?" I asked not even realizing he was knocked out.
"Oh, he's just under a sleeping spell. It will wear off soon. As I said, he can't know what you are until the process is complete. I planned on reading you the second you came on my property. Your aura is powerful. He may not be the happiest when he wakes up though." She smiled, but it didnt reach her eyes.
"So what can I do to prepare for this power?" I needed to know everything. I wanted to be prepared for whatever it throws at me.
"Of course the usual working out, running A LOT. Also bond with the horse. That will give you another soul to help balance out the power so it's not directly on you and only you. You must bond with Jack. Both emotionally and physically. Never hide anything from him. Make sure to eat a lot of meat as well. If you don't, your wolf will go mad and probably kill all of us." She said, not a hint of emotion in her eyes.
I gulped, and just then Jack started waking up, "what the fuck?!" He growled at the witch.
She held up her hand, "Alpha Jack, I'd suggest you calm down. I had to have an important conversation with the Luna, without the prying ears."
He crossed his arms over his chest and quirked a brow, "like what?" He asked.
"That's something I cannot tell you, but something you guys will have to learn as a team. You both are just fine, so there is nothing else I can do." She shot at him.
"Can we talk some more later?" I asked breaking them both out of the argument that was threatening to come.
Jack and the witch both looked at me in shock, "Aubrey. My name's Aubrey. And if you wish, we can." Aubrey replied.
"Sorry, Aubrey, I should have asked for your name. I didn't mean to come out as rude or anything. I'm sorry." I said fidgeting.
She looked at me in shock, "oh... Uh it's ok. Don't worry about it." She said with a small smile.
I nodded at her, then looked at Jack who was already standing holding out his hand for me to grab.
Gladly taking it, I stood up, as he led me to the door. I turned around before walking out, "thank you. For everything Aubrey." I said.
She looked taken aback, but quickly recovered, "it is my duty to serve you and Alpha Jack." She said with a slight tilt of her head.
I sighed and gave her one last smile before turning around and walking out the door. "So what was so important that she had to knock me out?" He asked, definitely pissed off.
I looked him in the eyes and tried to think of what she had said, "I honestly don't remember. I remember bits and pieces, but the important part, the memory isn't there?" I said not understanding.
He stopped me and turned me towards him, "what do you mean?" He asked.
"I mean the memory of what she said I was, it's not there. Like it never happened. She said I can't tell you, or anyone until the mating process is complete. Then I can tell you, and the pack, but I can't tell anyone else. Not even our allies." I said trying to figure it out myself.
"She wiped your memory to ensure your safety." He said putting the pieces together.
