Chapter 9 - Best Warrior, Really?

Sensing the dangerous force that was bursting towards her, Layah clenched the hilt of her sword and narrowly escaped the incoming sword, which distracted her for a moment, but when she turned her head, her eyes widened as a huge foot kicked her mercilessly on the chest, violently blasting her away and sending her flying backwards, a far distantce, before her body furiously slammed on the wall and plunged to the ground.

She quickly coughed hard and clutched her chest as she spurted out a mouthful of blood.

"Princess!" Alucard, who felt extremely guilty on seeing her hurt, proceeded to rush towards her, but halted when someone they hadn't expected walked into the ground, his face stern as a stone. "What is going on here?"

"Your Majesty!" They all immediately went down on their knees, including Mishak, bowing deeply to him with fear in their eyes.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in the palace? " He ignored them and turned to Layla, who had already managed to get up on her feet with drops of blood on her lips.

Layah looked at him and scoffed in disdain. The emperor was one of the people she despised, and he was also the catalyst for her transformation into the woman she is today.

When she was a little girl, he gave her a life that was worse than a punishment and it has kept her from seeing him as a father.

She ignored him and turned to face Mishak. "You! It's not over. If you think that I have given up, then you're mistaken." She glared at him and intense killing intent began to emit from her, causing Mishak, whom it was meant for, to immediately notice.

He glanced at the emperor and, knowing that not even he would be able to stop the princess from finishing that battle, he gripped tightly onto his saber and got ready to continue the fight.

Layah sneered and used the back of her hand to wipe off the blood on her lips. She tightly wielded her sword and fiercely surged toward Mishak, ready to beat him this time around.

Mishak, who had yet to take a step forward, fluttered his lashes at such confidence she had and immediately moved.

They interlaced, and just before their weapons could collide, Layah unexpectedly lifted her leg and brutally kicked him in the crotch, then swiftly dodged his saber, using her sword to inflict a deep wound on his arm, in the process.

Mishak's eyes broadened like a saucer, and his eyeballs almost popped out of their sockets as his manhood arched like never before. He clutched onto his crotch and fell on his knees, falling face flat on the ground in horrible pain.

Layah halted and took a long deep breath. She turned around to look at Mishak, who was groaning on the floor in agony, and smirked at him in mockery. "One of the best warrior, really? It's shameful that a princess like me beat you in a battle." She chuckled softly and stuffed her sword back into the bag that she wore on her back, then proceeded to walk away. "Oh wait, I forgot. You're now officially my slave. Get ready to resign as a royal warrior and begin your work for me tomorrow." she smiled at him and strolled past the emperor, who stood, stunned.

He knew she had been training since a young age, but this was the first time he had ever seen her battle with the soldiers. He must admit, he's quite surprised.

A look of contempt flashed in his eyes as he glanced at Mishsk, who was being helped up from the floor, and shook his head. He placed his hands behind his back and stormed out of the training ground.
