Synopsis
Xue Rui, a young scriptwriter who's lazy in every aspect of his life except his job, transmigrated into an ancient world of cultivation. It wouldn't be such a big problem except, he took on the role of a demon—Xue Ranmei—that everyone despises and united together to kill. He even found out later that…he actually transmigrated into one of the scripts that he wrote that was even made into a popular Xianxia romance drama. Now he has to fix 'his' past mistakes and work hard to control and keep his own story in order until the very end in order to return to his normal life, all under the instruction of an unstable APP. Granted, things seem almost impossible with so many changes to every aspect of the plot. Amidst this big mess, he gets a first class experience of adventures and mysteries right alongside the male lead Qing Qingxian! After experiencing the whole package of this world and unexpectedly falling for Qing Qingxian, he realizes that he doesn't want to return, but everything has already become too late for him to make choices. In order to get his real wish, Xue Rui has to make two big sacrifices. Will his feelings be strong enough to push him to that step? Author's note: Let me give you readers a heads-up, this will have sad parts, but don't worry the ending will be a happy one (for everyone's sake)! ◉‿◉

Chapter 1 - Arc One: Handi Kingdom (Important Information)

Just thought that it would be useful to have these information. I know that this will be ESPECIALLY HARD to remember for people who are not fluent in Chinese, so perhaps keep this tab open next to the story. Trying my best to not leak the plot.

New characters: Surnames have no meaning (the surname characters themselves do). Females usually do not get a courtesy name (or zi 字), except for sometimes after marriage. Ranked by rough chronological order of their appearances in the story.

The prefix 'A-' or 'Zi-' and the suffix '-er' combined with the last character of someone's name is a way of calling a very close friend, child, younger sibling, or a servant. In modern times, we usually just use the prefix 'Xiao-' which means 'little'.
