Chapter 1 - The ruler of history.

History isn't a subject its a time period of past which is being shared with us for knowing what our world have suffered. But students now a time didn't take it as serious. They only know how to cram it which is a severe problem in them. So apart from this i will present you about the Indian history. Indian history was ruled by Colonial government or Britishers whose motive was to run EEIC(English East India Company) so that they can get profit easily.

There were Three revolutions due to which we Indians got freedom.

1) Non-cooperation movements.

2) Rowlatt Satyagraha movement.

3) Civil disobedience movement

These were three broad based movements by Mahatma Gandhi for uniting all Indians into one nation.

Non-cooperation was a movement by Gandhi ji in which citizens were not-cooperating with colonial government means there were not using the products made by british. They were only wearing khadi cloth.

Rowlatt satyagraha movement was for finding the right truth that how britishers are ruling on them.

civil disobedience movement was that in which citizens were disobeying the laws made by colonial government. Ex-Salt law was introduced by british in which tax was imposed on salt, Since salt was that item which was being consumed in every household so, Mahatma Gandhi along several leaders walks out for Dandi march for Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi in Gujrat to boil the salt and to get salt from that.

People got sense of collective belongingness through various struggles and also through various cultural processes that were:-

-Image of Bharat Mata.

-Revival of Indian Folklore.

-Icons and Symbols.

-Reinterpretation of History.
