Xavier began to scratch the back of his head. He hadn't exactly forgotten but he didn't have a chance to tell her since all their conversations never ended well.
"I forgot to tell you. I'm working as a basketball coach for the community middle school"
That came as a shocker. Not that she was stalking him online but she had kept a few tabs on him. Just to know if he was okay and the last she heard was that he was a pro basketballer playing in the NBA
"What happened to your career in the NBA?" She asked
He scratched his neck as memories of his suspension came to mind
"Well that's a long story" he slowly said
Jessie smacked her forehead
"I'm sorry I shouldn't even be asking you this questions. Whatever is going on in your life is none of my business"
"It is your business" Xavier chimed in
"It's not" Jessie responded
He placed a hand on the wall
