Lucas held an annoyed expression
"Is it because of him?" He asked referring to a certain ex boyfriend
There was no need denying it
"He doesn't look well. I think I should check up on him" she explained
"The guy said he's okay"
"Well he always says he is okay"
Lucas had to ask what had been on his mind for a while
"Do you still have feelings for him?"
Jessie paused at the question. Did she still have feelings for him?
"What? How can you ask me that?" She spat back defensively
Lucas picked up his jacket and began putting it on
"It's clear that you still do. I think that you should work out what you have with him first and if you're still interested then give me a call. I really like you but I don't want to be anyone's rebound or second choice"
