Jessie stepped closer and wrapped his hand in hers
"You know that I care about us right? I'm sorry if I wasn't acting like I do. I care about you a lot and your feelings are very important to me"
"I know. I should also apologize, I overreacted, I shouldn't have walked out. I should have stayed and talked it out"
The two hugged each other passionately. It felt good that they were on the same page.
As they separated from the hug, Jessie remembered a very important thing that happened that night.
"I drove here" Jessie announced, dangling the keys in front of Xavier.
His eyes opened wide as he stared at the keys in her hands and the triumphant smile on her face
"What happened to your fear of driving?"
"I was more scared of what would happen to you if you started doing drugs again" she stated
Xavier had never felt more special
"So you got into a car, despite yout fear just because you were worried about me"
