He is silent for a second and then he speaks up
"Jessie, I'm not angry. If anything I'm happy that you're branching out, you just changed schools, you have to make new friends and not everything can be planned or foreseen ahead of time"
"Wow. You are so mature about this. Thanks"
"It's the therapy. It's working" his voice sounds lighter
"That's great. Sorry I haven't been able to go with you anymore. Things are a mess"
"No problem"
We don't say anything for a minute and then i remember I had said I'd explain why I needed a tutor
"I found out today that I'm graduating this year"
"Wow that means you have a lot of catching up to do"
"Yeah that's why I have a tutor" I explain
He lets out an understanding sigh
"Oh I understand now"
"I'm also sorry for walking out on you in the middle of the game" I add
