Arianna dropped the bouquet on the table and rose to her feet in anger and confusion. She had no idea what she had done to warrant such words of insults from her boss
"Sir with all due respect where is this coming from?" She asked keeping her anger in check since he was still her boss.
He took steps closer to her.
"Don't you know that men like my brother never change, he lied about his name, left you stranded, didn't pick your calls or call you back, and hooked up with random people during the time that you were brooding and mourning your relationship and now you're together again, what do you call that if not stupidity or foolishness".
Her jaws dropped as she listened to the words that came out of his mouth. She was shocked beyond reason at his words but she had to make something clear to him. She stood her ground and even though she was trembling inside she hid it very well.
