A LITTLE RECAP
He brushed her hand off and stood up
"It's pretty clear that I don't mean anything to you," he said and began walking toward his car
She stood up and followed behind him
"Wait. Xavier, it's not like that. I…"
She stopped as her bracelet began making noise, she had to retreat back to her porch, or else her parents were going to come out.
She couldn't do anything as she watched him drive away
She had not expected that he would react this way at all. She didn't even expect him to care, she had expected a chill reply from him like usual but this was different. Totally unexpected. Why did he care so much? Was he hurt? Was he going to miss her?
She had wanted to explain to him that she had only found out that same day and he was the first person she was telling.
