She stood up from her bed and made her way to her parent's room.
One knock
Two knocks
Three knocks
And then a "come in" was heard
Jessie opened the door to her parent's room and walked in. She took in a breath and looked at them.
"I've decided"
Curiosity filled their gaze as they looked upon their daughter
"What's your decision?"
Jessie cleared her throat and thought about it one last time
"I'd like to change schools" she declared
Her mum quickly got up from the bed and walked toward her
"Are you sure?"
She nodded her head
"I'm sure"
"Alright dear"
Jessie turned to leave but then she turned to face both her parents again
"Thanks for everything. Even if you went behind my back. I really appreciate it. I know I don't show it enough but I'm really glad and grateful to have you guys as my parents. I love you both so much"
