"How did that happen? You never fail anything on your tests" Arianna asked, playing along.
"I don't know mum, what if I'm losing my edge? '' That really was a thought. Maybe she was losing her edge. How else would she have not seen the signs with Xaiden? a tear escaped her eyes. She wiped it away and hugged Arianna
Arianna sighed and patted her back, something was bothering Jessie and it wasn't her grades, she just wished she would tell her instead of lying about it. But she couldn't force the truth out of her, she just had to wait till she felt it was the right time to tell her.
The two separated from the hug and Jessie couldn't stop wiping her eyes, the tears were non stop. Why couldn't she stop thinking about what happened earlier that night?
