Yeah there's this arcade that just opened up ar…" Xavier started to say but Jessie's phone made a sound and cut him off. She opened the text that had popped on the screen and smiled effortlessly. It was a text from Xaiden he wanted to know if she was free to go bowling with him.
She turned to Xavier, the arcade sounded fun but Xaiden was her boyfriend now, she had to put him first. Right?
"I'm sorry I have to take a raincheck" she said with a low voice
He raised an eyebrow
"Why? Are your parents back?"
"Xaiden just asked me to meet up with him" she explained
He sighed
"So you're ditching me for Xaiden. Great'' he didn't hide the disappointment or sarcasm in his voice
"Don't say it like that" Jessie begged
"But that's exactly what you're doing"
