A LITTLE RECAP
I ran the idea by my friends and mhm parents and they all supported my decision. I, however, found it hard to tell Xavier. He had already made so many plans for our time in New York together. I didn't know how to tell him that I was taking a gap year.
So I came up with the idea that I'd wait till I heard back from the university of Columbia. Maybe I'd get rejected. That way he'd understand that it wasn't my fault.
Our relationship was blossoming in ways that I had never imagined and I didn't want to end it. Honestly I love Xavier but he doesn't take disappointment well and I'm scared that if I tell him my plans he would break up with me.
