He was wearing a full-bodied black garment with black pants, over which he wore a flowing white robe with six black magatama markings across his chest and familiar pattern of a black Rinnegan and nine black magatama markings in rows of threes of his back.

Tsunade had tried to stop them but her age and injuries she had sustained over the years had finally caught up to her and she and Shikamaru were killed, both trying to protect a pregnant Hinata. Sasuke had killed them both.
The bastard and his howling banshee had really pushed him too far and he had destroyed half the leaf and crippled sasuke and ripped out his rinnegan in anger before remembering the last words of his wife 'be better than them, let your heart say true.' even when dying she was still better than those scum.
