The room was bright due to the morning sun. The colours of nature made the room more beautiful and colourful
Getting off from the bed, my legs touched the cold clean floor and this gave a tinkling feeling
"Where am I? And also where's my shoe!" looking around I saw a gorgeous yet simple looking pairs of green slippers. So without much thinking, I wore them and reached for the door but it was suddenly opened....
"Will!" I hugged him tightly and he hugged back, "What happened!"
"Well, I'll say that you were out for weeks, but let me explain what happened first" he sat down on the bed with a deep breath which seemed to swallow the entire life source, he started....
"So, when you fell into the pentacle, great darkness covered the entire city. I was shocked to see it taking form and also trying to devour the people. Out of nowhere, a man came out through this glowing portal....." I looked at Will in pure disbelief as he described the entire situation, "It was then I knew he was a powerful wizard because of how he used.... Magic!, using great force he trapped the darkness into an orb before dropping it in the pentacle, that was right after I took you away from it. The wizard also closed the pentacle but those men who started it were nowhere to be seen. I held you tight as the darkness finally disappeared for good, the wizard approached me and place a spell on you, I asked him why and he replied saying it was to free your soul from abyss. Before entering the portal, he turned back and said Darkness is coming faster than usual and the world will be condemned, destroyed if we don't act fast.... He also mentioned something about the Undead and Nature before leaving" Will sounded to me like he was telling a fairytale but it was actually what happened
I moved towards the window, eyes closed....
I was just a detective with heavy case on my hand, I didn't prepare for any of this....
"Darkness, Undead, Nature..... Three words with great meaning" my throat screamed dry as I spoke all those words
"Where am I?" the question made Will look away for a second before answering...
"My.... My home"
Shock filled me up, this was the first time being in his house, I never knew it would be so bright
"I thought you always like to be in the shadows?"
"Of course, I wanted to make this room bright because of you" His face turned into a red quickly before changing back when he said that
Ironically, I didn't get that well but he actually just..... blushed???
"If this darkness is coming, we need to be prepared!" I looked deep into space trying to think.....
