"What happened to your foot?" Bona asked as he saw Kevin bleeding.
He was unsure whether to tell them what really happened or not, but he knew they will keep on pestering him until he give them a reply.
"I…I hurt my foot while running from some elves." Kevin discovered that he also hurt his fingers but it wasn't bleeding much as his foot.
"What?! How did that happened?" The wizard appeared behind the disciples and heard what Kevin said.
"What were you doing out there? How did you let them see you. How many times do I have to tell you that you can't go out of the forest!" The wizard yelled.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I only wanted to pick my arrow and coincidentally met them."
"Why didn't Bona or Silas go with you. What if you were killed? Your presence as a human is a threat to other elves. You must not be seen among all other elves or you'll be killed instantly." The wizard said as he motioned his hands through the white colored hair of his head.
This was what he do every time he's angry.
All of the disciples had rushed out to them after hearing the yelling from Kevin and the wizard.
"Can't anything be done? Can't I be magically turned into an Elf?" Kevin asked With a sheepish face gazing at the wizard.
"I've not yet found a solution to this, just keep on training till I find the solution, is that hard to do?"
"I told you, I'm strong enough to protect myself. Can't you make fake ears with your spells and let me go out for once. Please!"
"No. I must not hear any of this again. Go back inside." The wizard abruptly said and Kevin sluggishly went into the forest house.
"Master, what should we do?" Bona asked after Kevin had left.
He was feeling sad for the poor human boy. It seems like he was hurting a lot for not being able to live with other elves or humans of his age. He's stuck here with them for seventeen years.
Bona had suggested for the Wizard take the human boy to live with other Humans but the wizard would always refuse. He often say that Kevin is not a human but an elf who is yet to become an elf.
He mentioned something about Kevin's aura; they were the colored green, which was the color of every elf's aura.
The amount of yellow aura in his body was just a little, meaning that his body consists of mainly elven traits. Just a little bit of human traits could be seen in him.
Bona who was concerned about Kevin decided to talk it out with the wizard; "Master, it seems like he's strong enough to defend himself, why don't we take him to the Human land for now? Then maybe when we find a solution to his problem, we can bring him back."
"No! I don't care how many time you suggest that; my answer will always be no." The wizard replied before storming toward a direction in the forest.
A few of the disciples followed after him while the others stayed close to the forest house, in case Kevin finally comes out of the house.
As soon as Kevin went inside the forest house, he had a frown on his face as he kicked the objects that came his way.
That was when something golden shined from a corner of his eyes.
He looked at his right side and saw that the door of the wizard's workshop was opened which was a first.
The wizard always lock his door and let no one, not even his disciples to come inside.
He thought for a while if he should enter or not, but he couldn't help his curiosity, he wanted to see what was inside, he knew he might not be opportune to come across this again, so he grabbed this opportunity. It doesn't seem like the Wizard was coming in any time soon.
He locked the door behind himself and started looking around.
The workshop was full of different kinds of magical stuff and elixirs. On the top of a table was a magic book where several teachings of magic and spells were written.
In the book were remedies to all kinds of problems, so Kevin started looking through the pages of the book to see if he could find a solution to the problem he was having. His weak body and the human physique.
He looked through all the pages of the book but there was nothing that mentions or points to his weakness or type of problem.
He tossed the book over to a side and almost slammed his fist on the mirror that was in front of him but something caught his attention. It was a ring, a golden ring having a strange design drawn on it.
He picked up the ring and brought it closer to his face for further examination.
His gaze fixated at the corners of the ring.
"This ring looks so beautiful to be placed in such a creepy place as this," Kevin said as he slowly fixed the golden ring into his hands. "Why put it on the table when it's meant to be worn on the hands."
"Arghhh." Kevin groaned in pain as he realized that he was putting on the ring on one of the fingers that was hurt earlier. Blood dropped from his left middle finger and could only result in removing the ring from his hands.
Kevin tried to stop his fingers from bleeding but surprisingly, he saw that it was already healing itself.
The blood was being sucked by the golden ring and all other wounds that he had also started getting healed.
As his blood were being sucked by the ring, it kept on glowing brightly.
It glowed so brightly that Kevin wasn't able to see anything due to how bright it was. But it abruptly stopped glowing and Kevin started feeling dizzy.
He then collapsed on the floor, weak and tired.
