The sound of a slap that she had anticipated was not heard. Third Madam Qiao's raised arm was held tightly by a large hand, and Qiao Yue quietly lowered her slightly lifted leg and looked at Qiao Jing.
"Third aunt, didn't you hear what I said?" Qiao Jing said as he shook off Qiao Xin's mother's hand.
