Ming Yao was too lazy to support Gu Siting any longer.
She planned to clean up the dining room and return to the servant room, suddenly realizing that his coat, which she had held for three days, had lost much of his scent. She would need to get another piece of his clothing tonight.
Thinking of the suit jacket he had changed out of and left on the sofa, Ming Yao decided to go get it.
Upon leaving the dining room, she discovered that the man had not gone upstairs but was leaning against the hallway wall, his eyebrows tightly furrowed, eyelids drooping, looking uncomfortable.
Perhaps hearing footsteps, he lifted his eyelids and shot Ming Yao a glance.
"You're so ugly, you should have the self-awareness not to harbor those kinds of thoughts toward your employer," he extended his hand towards her, "Help me upstairs."
High and mighty, like an emperor waiting to be served by his maid.
Ming Yao internally scoffed.
