Reya's POV
"Hey," I smiled at Aaron, punching Edward away from the mage with everything in me.
"Hey," he smiled back, creating a whirl of shadows which impeded Dreyfus's lightning from getting to me. "We do make a great team."
"Of course we do. What do we do about them?"
The duo stood away from us, ready to attack us again with their weapons in hand.
"We fight."
"I know we should fight, but how about we split up. I'll take Edward while you take on Dreyfus."
The Xaj floated into the air, blasting lightning bolts at us.
"Are you sure about that?" he strained creating a barrier of shadows which kept us locked in a ball, safe from the harsh elements.
"I am a hundred percent sure."
"You do know that the only thing that can permanently kill a Primordial is a vladians flames."
"I know about it. But if I stay away from fighting for my family, that would make me a fool and no better than the next guy."
