"Welcome back Princess Reya," a council member said standing at his feet as I walked into the room with Aaron.
"Thank you so much Lord Antonio," I gave off with a smile, settling into my chair with Aaron dropping wearily into his.
There were four chairs empty with all the rest filled with their rightful owners. Two of them belonged to Gillfidor and Dreyfus who were still on the battlefield, one belonged to the eldest Primordial, Exodus and the last belonged to Joan. The space beside me got tears forming around my eyes blocking out my sight.
"Reya," his hand grazed mine as I turned to look at him. He was not faring better than I thought he would be for he was trying hard to hold his tears back. "It is going to be fine."
"Speak for yourself," I chided. "You look like you're about to pass a stomach stone."
"Liar, I feel fine."
"Should you not be in bed resting Aaron?" asked a shocked Umbra.
