Reya's POV
"We're around six hundred, I think," laughed the boy. "Pretty small but capable of doing so much. We've lived in the geyser for so long that we have created some sort of immunity which makes us different from other vladians in some sense."
"That is amazing! Which means you would be the ruler of your town."
"Yes. But that would be when my father is dead."
"I guess you've got your life all figured out then," I sighed, turning to Shera. "What about you? How did your day go?"
"You go first," she laughed.
"Sure."
With a deep breath, I narrated how I had jumped off the ship and met the king seahorse who took me to the island where I met James and Rachael.
"I guess the ring does still protect its wielders," she nodded looking at the ring on my finger. "Does it mean you're really impervious to attacks?"
