Joan's fists curled up into a ball with a dark glow about it. She was clearly disappointed with how things were turning out and it visibly showed on her face.
"Do not do what you want to do sister. I know how this ends for you," the witch suggested, getting to her feet with the crystals disappearing from beneath her feet.
"But I do," Joan lifted her head to showcase a face filled with shadows. "And it does not end well for either of us."
With a wave of her hands, she created shadows so fierce all the dragons fled in fear with some of the crossbreeds breaking apart and falling onto the ground.
"Very impressive Joan," Henrietta laughed, cracking her knuckles. "You chase away my vladian warriors and the dragons whilst severing my connections with the crossbreeds."
