Xylia was in the student council's room when Liliana and Zoey barged inside. She frowned when she saw the two looked pale.
"What happened?" She asked.
"X-Xylia, you have to go to the gym! I-It's Aciel!" Zoey stammered.
Xylia didn't move and was still confused about Zoey's words. She took a deep breath, showing the two how to relax and calm down.
"Now, repeat it. What happened?"
"Aciel got into a fight with the third years! They're in the gym! You have to go there!" Liliana frantically said.
"Where are the teachers?"
"They're in a meeting with the board."
Xylia sighed. The last thing she wanted to do was to meddle with someone's business, especially if Aciel was involved. She had been trying to avoid him for the past few days because Chelsea kept scolding her.
She opened the drawer on her desk to get something. Zoey and Liliana glanced at each other when they saw Xylia take out two wooden sticks. Xylia took a deep breath before she stood up and walked out to see what was happening.
The students heard there was a fight in the gym, so most of them ran to watch the scene. Leiam and Chelsea rushed toward Xylia when they saw her.
"Xylia, we can't control him! Simon and the others tried to stop him, but he kept beating the boys from the third year." Chelsea said, worried.
Xylia didn't reply and just nodded. Leiam was confused why the members of the student council called the president and not the teachers. Even though they were in a meeting, they would surely come if they found out about the fight.
The girls gave some space when they saw Xylia walk inside the gym so she could go to where Aciel was. The boys couldn't understand what could a girl like her would do with the black prince of the De Silva Clan.
Xylia's expression changed, seeing the third years all beaten up. She saw Aciel still holding one guy by his wrist while punching him in the face continuously. She didn't blink and walked toward him.
"Mr. De Silva! You are disturbing the peace and order of this school. As the student council president, I will have to apprehend you!" She shouted.
There was a sudden silence in the gym, waiting for Aciel to answer the Antonov princess. Aciel gave the guy a final punch, then turned to Xylia with a dark expression.
He smirked, then looked at Xylia from head to toe. He was six feet tall, while Xylia was around five feet seven inches. Her built could never be a match to his, so how would she apprehend him.
"And how would you do that, president?" He asked.
Xylia was not sure if she could seize him. It was the first time she would try to use her self-defense and martial arts skills against someone like Aciel. But she had no choice but to do what she had to.
She didn't answer and observed Aciel's. She noticed he was already exhausted, and both his hands were swollen. She frowned when he saw a deep cut on his forehead. Then she looked at the boys from the third years and the broken things near them.
She slowly walked closer and stood in front of him. She stared directly into his silver eyes, then bit her lips.
She sighed. "You are not the one who attacked first."
Aciel was surprised, and so was everyone in the gym. How could she say that it wasn't Aciel's fault? The students started murmuring and whispering to each other. Before someone could comment, they were shocked when Xylia suddenly attacked Aciel on the stomach with her wooden stick.
Aciel didn't see it coming. He let his guard down when Xylia was getting closer to him. The attack from her was different, as if a man had punched him in the stomach. His knees trembled and weakened when he felt the pain. He was about to fall, but Xylia didn't let him and lent him her shoulder. The others saw it differently. It was like Xylia was hugging Aciel after hurting him.
"Do not underestimate a girl like me again." She whispered before attacking him again by striking Aciel on the side of his neck, making him unconscious.
"Simon! Bring your friend to the infirmary. And Chelsea, call security and bring the others so they could be treated. We'll investigate further what really happened." She said in an authoritative tone.
Simon and the other boys were looking at Xylia as she walked out of the gym. They couldn't believe what had happened. It was so fast, and didn't expect that Aciel could be defeated that easily.
"Your president is amazing!" Chris exclaimed.
"She is. Why do you think she stayed as the president of the school for the past four years? She wasn't just a wealthy heiress. She's more than that." Chelsea answered.
"Yeah! She's a black belter in taekwondo, and she knows how to use a lot of weapons!" Liliana said proudly.
Simon frowned. "Weapons? What kind of weapons? And did she need to know how to use it?"
"A lot. Knives, guns, bows, and swords, to name a few. She was not allowed to join any club because she had to practice using them. Last year, her mom even asked her-"
"Liliana!" Chelsea yelled to stop her friend. "You're talking too much. Help the others. You heard what Xylia said."
Liliana's eyes widened when she realized what she was supposed to say. She covered her mouth and looked at Chelsea. Simon noticed that Liliana was scared, but he didn't let them notice that his curiosity grew.
He brought Aciel to the infirmary and saw Xylia was waiting for them. She was holding a first aid kit and looked worried. For some reason, Simon saw a different Xylia. Too different from the girl in the gym earlier.
"Are you worried that you killed him?" He teased.
Xylia didn't answer and waited for Simon to put Aciel on the bed.
"Look. I don't know what happened at the gym. But I know it wasn't Aciel's fault." Simon started.
Xylia stared at Aciel's face, then turned to Simon. "I know. But he made a mistake when he hit those boys."
