Things did not seem to go swimmingly for the trio that worked backstage for the investigation of Wang Dae-ji's death. And as for those who do work in the frontlines….
The policemen who actually investigate the crime scene and all the details of the murder were not making much progress either.
"It's like a locked room case, I tell ya!" One of them cursed while drinking a cup of coffee. "There are no CCTV cameras inside their rooms, but there are ones on either side of the hallways for their individual floors and the staircase. No signs of breaking and entering. Wang Dae-ji went inside his flat alone, on the 5th floor. No vents to crawl into either."
The policeman with an oversized belly scratched his head. "The CCTV cameras are not even tempered with. All we know from them is that Wang Dae-ji went up to his floor at 7:13 pm after work, and then when Wang Hwi-in went to see him at 9:28— Bam! He's dead."
