The food in the wooden cups was left alone, half-eaten. The clanging of swords were loud, causing vibrations on the grounds and sending them crashing down.
There used to be two people who ate from those cups.
Yet they now drew their swords quickly in just a flash of a moment. In the turn of a season, the closing of an eye as slumber arrives.
Shuku continued to read the contents of his research. He was mumbling as he ate curry from his bowl.
He didn't need to eat, but he wanted to.
