The following day, Ren Jidian and Watanabe Endo held on to each other's hands as they stepped inside the Beppu Inc. building.
They look determined but also very tense. Like two little kids going inside the witch's house made of sweets.
This house had fed them, but it was also a honey trap.
"You'll be fine. Nothing will come out of their diagnostics." Ren Jidian said, his eyes having heavy bags under them.
He did not sleep at all as he hurriedly dismantled the pain and pleasure temporarily out of Watanabe Endo.
The robot frowned, but nodded. "Maybe we shouldn't have gotten carried away. Or maybe if I had endured it—"
"We did nothing wrong." Ren Jidian assured him.
"I sure hope so."
A stern voice came from behind them. It was Ms. Matsumoto, with her arms crossed. She had a bandaid on her neck.
"I heard they will be running diagnostics on WE1 because of a function you have put." She said. "What was it?"
