The bleeding Ren Jidian called out as he saw his lover be struck down just as he had foretold before. This was exactly the scenario that Wei Sizhi prophesied about the Great Flood.
And he failed to prevent it. In fact, based on what he had said…..
It was his actions that led to this.
A self-fulfilled prophecy.
He now understood as rain came pouring down, and the image of dripping shadow was revealed from the clouds. The shadow flapped his wings above them all, proud and victorious.
The Great Flood was never meant to be brought by Monad. He was not the deity that the dreams were warning them about.
It was Crocell.
