Chapter 230 - Sympathy

Baphie traveled with Michael beside him, acting as the king and prince of Sparta, setting out to wage war on Athens. 

The 'son' seemed to despise 'his father' very much, but was called by duty to do as he wished. Or more accurately, coercion. Michael's eyes were in a permanent glare, and they go even deeper whenever Baphie would talk to him.

"It's a beautiful day to travel past the mountains, isn't it?" He said,

Michael grumbled. "Tell that to the horses who could barely walk from all the mud. We could always teleport, why make the poor animals suffer?"

"Because right now, we are humans. Humans have to travel like this to reach places. Man up, son!" He chuckled. "It's not like this was the first time you had to suffer regular human hardships before. What's a little mud and dirt?" 

Michael rolled his eyes. "Please don't call me son when there's no human nearby, Your Majesty. I'm not your son."
