As usual, I got up early.
Rice porridge.
Pickled vegetables.
Eggs.
A simple breakfast often signifies the start of a new day; life is just like this, starting in calm and returning to calm. The only thing out of tune with this concept is those impolite zombies.
I came downstairs.
Three old gentlemen were chatting leisurely. When they saw Lin Fan coming down, they all greeted him with smiles.
"Mr. Wang, is Grandma Xu in the vegetable field?" Lin Fan asked.
It was time to get to work. He had memorized the conclusions from yesterday's meeting; since it was a confirmed matter, it had to be addressed immediately.
"Oh, she's there. She went early in the morning," Mr. Wang replied.
Lin Fan said, "Mr. Wang, I'm planning to take Grandma Xu to the hospital to pick up some medicine."
Mr. Wang responded, "Okay, no problem, but you have to make sure my wife is safe. If anything happens to her, this old man won't be able to live on."
