"Come on, Cassandra! Get up right away!"
Gomiko's voice, which had been so cute and gentle, had now turned heavy.
Cassandra was still stunned and amazed, but she also didn't have time to stare blankly at the transformed Gomiko.
The young girl immediately came out of the room and jumped onto Gomiko's body.
"Get a tight grip on my neck!"
"KYAA!"
Cassandra shrieked as Gomiko suddenly carried her quickly.
"Where are we going?!" Cassandra shrieked. Her voice sounded defeated by the howling of the wind so strong.
"Just follow me, I will take you to a safe place! The border forest between the black and white kingdoms!"
"But, can you do more--, KYAA!"
Gomiko again increased his strength, and they got taller. Cassandra looked down, and suddenly her body went limp. Slowly her eyes closed and the hand holding onto Gomiko's neck weakened.
Gomiko could sense that. He immediately turned to Cassandra and panicked.
"Cassandra! Hang on!"
Gomiko immediately stopped and slowed his flight speed. Then, slowly, the large dark blue creature began to descend as its eyes never left Cassandra, who had completely passed out on her back.
Luckily, there was a forest below them that could be used to land. Gomiko swiftly descended.
Cassandra's body leaned against a tree, and Gomiko's eyes looked sorry to see Cassandra's condition.
"Maybe she was afraid to see my scary appearance. I shouldn'tshould have kept my form the same all of a sudden. I know this is a bad idea…."
Gomiko then closed his eyes, and in an instant, the dark blue dragon figure turned back into the little furry creature that had always accompanied Cassandra.
The flap of her little wings quickly moved toward Cassandra's face. He rammed the hairy body into Cassandra's eyes.
"Get up, Cassandra. You don't have to be afraid to see me. I've returned to being the Gomiko you know," Gomiko muttered.
Cassandra's eyes slowly opened, and faintly visible, the figure of a small Gomiko covered with feathers was flying while looking at her with a restless look.
"Cassandra!" Gomiko screamed. His small hands wrapped around Cassandra's nose.
"Go-Gomiko, you are not a dragon?"
Cassandra's voice was hoarse, and she forced her eyes to open wide and watched Gomiko. Her heart was still confused about all that was happening to her.
"I'm sorry, I really didn't expect my transformation to shock you. I didn't mean that, Cassandra. There is no other way to save you and take you out of the palace except using my form," said Gomiko with resignation.
"So you are a dragon? Then, what happened to you? Why are you being small and adorable?"
Cassandra's eyes were still drooping at Gomiko. Shie is figuring out which is more important, knowing the ins and outs of Gomiko or thinking of ways to deal with Azazel.
"Actually, it's another side that you never really know. I'm a dragon, I mean… there's a dragon hidden in my body. I'm cursed when you find me, I can't fully become a dragon in the long run. Do you understand?" asked Gomiko.
"Actually I don't understand, but I know you are a dragon. So, what should I do now? Leaving was not the right decision. I have to help all of them, especially my parents," answered Cassandra, whose face looked panicked again.
Gomiko sat on Cassandra's shoulder, both of them now staring at the leaves on the tree.
"You have to practice Cassandra. Both white and black magic, you should be able to do both. Otherwise, all will lose and you will fail. Do you want to become a magician who failed to save many lives?"
A long sigh rang out. Cassandra shook her head and said, "Your words is too difficult and heavy. It would help if you didn't have to ask questions like that. I was so confused and sad. Just imagine if all that happened, I'm sure I would lock myself up until the end of my life in the tower."
"But, that is the main condition, Cassandra. Like it or not, you have to do it. Even if you try to dodge, you'll still be rewarded, right?"
Cassandra stood up, then shouted, "O GOD AND ANCIENTORS, WHY DO YOU SO BAD AND AT ME?! GRANDMOTHER?! ANSWER ME, COME TO ME! I DON'T WANT TO BE TRACKED IN THIS SITUATION!"
CTAR!
Suddenly, there was a loud sound of lightning striking a tree branch. Instantly Cassandra jumped up and crouched down, hiding her face between her elbows.
"Damn, looks like they're mad at Cassandra! Next time, watch your words! It had offended the ancestors as well as the gods. You should calm down a bit, I'm sure a way out will definitely come to guide you," said Gomiko wisely.
"Go to the southwest forest in the white kingdom. You will meet Argus, he is the oldest wizard there, he will teach you many things. Tell him, if you are the eighth descendant of the black kingdom, he will know that you are my grandson."
The voice of Cassandra's grandmother echoed in the sky. The beautiful girl immediately raised her head and looked for the grandmother's form, which was not visible.
"Grandma! Come out and show yourself! I want to ask something else?! I can't go!" Cassandra exclaimed loudly.
"You sure can! As I told you in the dream! You will find yourself, Cassandra! You are the chosen one, you should be able to finish all this! promise me never to give up! I can't appear in front of you this time, I'm sorry."
A strong wind blew against Cassandra's face. A moment after, the black cloud that appeared along with the lightning disappeared immediately.
"Grandma! Do not go!"
Unfortunately, that voice no longer appears. Cassandra sat limply under a tree, muttering, "This is so unfair! I hate this thing, Gomiko!"
Gomiko looked at Cassandra. His big eyes sparkled, and he said, "We have to go now, Cassandra! But, if you don't want to do this, but you can show your parents that you have white magic power, that's not a bad thing! That's what you should think about!"
Cassandra swallowed her saliva and then turned her gaze towards the sky. After a moment of silence, Cassandra finally nodded. Then, she stood up and said, "Yes, you're right, Gomiko. Let's go now!"
