Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Bloodholds

In the year of 3030, a treacherous and arduous war had arisen. But what for? Who caused this disastrous phenomenon to occur?

The Concordat.

A diversity of multiple alienated species, all having one, simple objective in mind. Complete, and utter genocide of all other intelligent races. Following a radical belief that other organisms have no right, no worth, no reason, to live in this fathomless universe.

Breaking hell and havoc to several species alike, the Concordats used their advanced technology, and a special power within their artillery, allowing them to use supernatural powers and control the forces of nature.

However, one of these many organisms denied the Concordats effort.

The Humans.

Taking no for an answer, the humans of numerous factions amalgamated into a stronghold of power, known as the Unations. A united force of all who dare to fight, dispersing and destroying the Concordats once and for all.

During the numerous years of ongoing destruction and battle. The humans had come across something inexplicable, a power that can change this tide.

Forzers.

How did the humans come across this strange, and powerful ability? All because of a scientist, who managed to dissect a fallen alien apart of the Concordat. As stated before, this peculiar power allowed the aliens of Concordat to manipulate the forces of nature. Whether its water, fire, wind, terra, or many more. So, the humans definitely used this to their advantage.

Although the power of a forzer isn't natural for humans to be born with. There was surely an alternative.

Experimentation.

Who could the scientists experiment on though?

Well, the answer is undoubtably simple. Who is usually defenseless against an adult, man or woman? Who is the one that doesn't have a family, or anyone for protection? Just who has yet to be fully developed physically, or mentally?

Orphans. Toddler, to child, ranging to preteen.

These scientists used their wits and experimented on these children, genetically modifying the blood of fallen Concordats, and transfusing it into these kids. Although many have fallen to these inhumane projects, some, however, managed to survive. Manifesting their own forzer, and gaining more power than they ever had before.

Those who have gained their power were turned into soldiers, but just not any soldier.

Warriors. Warriors who have the power, the ability to make a change, and save all from this impending doom that has befallen onto the universe.

These warriors are called Lancers.

While there are not many lancers as there are average humans. These special beings have the capabilities to even be called a one-man army.

Using their newly found abilities, the lancers had utterly destroyed the Concordats, killing off the leaders, and finally making the entire alliance of aliens disperse. After the war had ended with the Unation drinking ale in glory, these lancers began to question themselves.

What's next?

Some, decided to stay, and continued to make the Unation grow in power, but others had eventually sought refuge. Refusing to be a dog for the military and traveling elsewhere in this infinite universe.

In a simple term of cause and effect. As these lancers had moved through this boundless space, some had settled down and had a family of their own. Unknowingly, they didn't only have children of their own… but created history.

In just a thousand years, the future generation of these lancers had gained the same special ability as their father or mother. Naturally born with a forger, and having the potential to become a true force of nature.

*****

On a distant world in the Fraizer galaxy. This healthy, purple planet is called Grazentair. But don't be deceived…

Sure. The lush, violet grass may be vibrant, the soil may be healthy, and the sky is a wonderous, and beautiful color of midnight blue, able to gaze at the many luminescing stars above.

But this planet is dying.

No, it's not physically dying, of course. But it's surely plummeting to a different source of power. Political power, and the economics is making this planets life dwindle at an exceptional rate.

A good question would be… but who is causing such an atrocity?

Well, in the country of Terain, a grand amount of these problem makers live in the capital city. Which is called the Centre EsBan. While this is called the capital, it's surely not how is seems.

The outer sections of this place are nothing but slums, where the ones who own no money, power, nor fame live. Slowly rotting as the wealthy sleeps comfortably in the very center of this humongous city.

Currently, inside a gigantic mansion in a shade of light blue. A man and woman stood on a stage in a large dining hall, their faces filled with nothing but content.

Meanwhile, a plethora of many wealthy men and woman alike, stood below them, smiling with the same hog-like greed in their eyes.

Due to the coming of years, and with a boom of more money being used and created. A new hierarchy was born. Not only are there nobles, but a greater standing of power that these very people hold. Being known as Bloodholds.

Bloodholds, are the people who stand at the top of this hierarchy. Using their own power and demands to make changes on not this very planet, but others as well throughout this galaxy. However, some use their stature as a way of corruption.

I'm sure you know where this is going…

Standing on the large hardwood stage, the man and woman waited with gracious-like smiles as other bloodholds began to slowly quiet down.

With there only being pure silence flowing within this massive dining hall, the man stepped forward, showing a small grin as he spoke into a microphone, his voice baritone, "good day to all the bloodholds who stand in this room."

The man is quite well-built, wearing a fully white tuxedo made of a sheen fur coat. His skin tone is like sand, a raised chiseled chin showing confidence, and his blue eyes are like knives, piercing all the guest that stood under him.

With another small chuckle, he casually slid his hand over his short platinum-like hair on his head, "let us rejoice, for this grand occurrence that has recently happened! Due to all the bloodholds — with me and my wife included…we have forged a new path on this planet. And have managed to slowly create a new world for Terain!"

All the bloodholds raised their crystalline wine glasses, a beautifully red liquid swiveling like a whirlpool as they all shouted in harmony, "long live Terain!!"

As they all cheered in unison, the ravishing wife took a step forward, intertwining her slender arm in between her husband's elbow. She is surely a beauty, the mouths of single bloodholds were agape, eyeing this woman with pure awe, even a hint of feral-like lust.

The wife wasn't too tall, nor too short, around the height of 5'5 at least. Attired in a dazzling, bright red one-piece dress that sparkled like diamonds, complementing her slim, yet wonderous hourglass figure. Her smooth and supple skin is a healthy color of beige. Long and curly violet hair rippled down her back like serene waves on a virgin island. Silky eyelashes, and a pair of big, ethereal blackened eyes that were like obsidian jewels. Including her exceptionally ample pink lips, which looked as if a simple kiss could murder a man.

When the noble crowd had finally went silent, the wife spoke, her high and silvery voice like a euphonic song, "as my husband stated, this is surely a sensational time indeed. Over these past few years, we bloodholds have finally managed to create a world where the wealthy – not rich – can prosper without those disgusting hooligans ruining our streets."

With a pause, the wife looked to her right, facing the blood red curtains. She raised her arm and gestured her slender fingers, seemingly calling for someone to step out.

Obviously, the crowd of wealthy bloodholds noticed this small gesture. All their eyes verting to where the woman showed a small, gentle smile.

While quietness prowled through the room, footsteps could be heard hitting the glossy, hardwood stage. After a few moments, a young man who looked no older than seventeen, had slowly, yet calmly made his way to the luxurious couple.

This young lad was certainly something, and he seemed to be the very epitome of dashing. His slicked hair that draped to his lower neck is a vibrant color of purple, like an amethyst flower blooming in the fair-weather of spring. The sleek skin of his is sandy, and his sharpened black eyes quickly scoped the bloodholds teeming the dining hall. As for his attire, a suede dark green tuxedo that perfectly fitted his slender and toned body.

Many young and older woman seemed to have slobbered eyeing the boy, some even speaking amongst their friends and associates.

"Oh my… such a fine young man."

"He looks just like the mistress, doesn't he?"

"I wonder what our children would look like…?"

Now standing with the couple, the wife and husband separated, standing parallel from each other on either side of the young gentlemen. He clasped his hands behind his back, and spoke into the microphone, his voice was deep, but not like a fully grown man, "good day to you all. As many of you know… My name is Alastair Tor-Breidlove. Son of Blood Winston and Meris Tor-Breidlove. And for such a glorious evening, I'd like to announce that after four years' time… I will be the new lord of our blood."

Although these bloodholds were taught at a young age to be courteous and remain with a noble demeanor, their boisterous cheers could've led people to think otherwise.

"Congratulations to the Blood of Tor-Breidlove!!"

"Such a fantastic day indeed!!"

"To think the young man will be a lord in just four years! Amazing!!"

The bloodholds in a whole were lively, excited, filled with joy hearing such news. Even the women began to erupt with machinations, devising plans to become Alastair's wives, and if not a wife, then a concubine it is!

Bloodhold Winston has stood patiently with his family, waiting for the bloodholds to finish their conversations. Almost in an instant, they stopped any further gossip and looked onward at the man standing tall. "Now that all has been cleared, please enjoy the food that our chefs had made. Enjoy this night – no, a new beginning of history, as I should say. Much appreciated to you all, my fellow bloodholds," Winston expressed, giving a courteous nod to all who stood below him and his family.

The many bloodholds went to the giant tables on the far-left side of the dining hall, already preparing to dine into the ludicrous amount of savory food that awaited to be manducated.

While doing so, Alastair stood with his father and mother behind the thick curtains on the stage. Meris showed a smile as she wrapped her arms around Alastair's stomach, giving him a loving hug, "you look very charming honey. Isn't this fantastic, in just four years, you'll be the new lord of our blood."

Alastair shared his mothers hug, revealing a small grin, "of course mother. It's very exciting indeed." Alastair's obsidian eyes looked over to his father, "but I'm sure there are people who'll try to take us down, right father?"

Winston calmly nodded, "you're right about that, son. I'm sure some are already plotting against us right now. They may even be here eating and associating with others as we speak."

Meris scoffed fixing Alastair's collar, "well, if that ever happens. We'll just get rid of them, whether its to kill, torture, or make them take refuge elsewhere. We planned this announcement for a purpose. And this will make our stature rise far more."

Meris crossed her arms making a small, yet barely discernable, sadistic smile, "we're one of the most influential, and powerful Bloods in this galaxy. If other meager existences try to harm us or our son, they will die."

Both Winston and Alastair nodded to her words, but the two knew that Meris was not a woman to be trifled with. Unless such a person was only thinking of a one-way trip to death, of course.

After finishing other further discussions, the family of three walked out into the dinning hall. Being greeted by many other bloodholds whom have waited for their appearance.

While being greeted, Alastair had separated from his parents, and many women had spoken to him, whether they were his age, a few years older, or even a decade or two his senior. They all had an objective in mind, and that is to be his woman.

In their own minds, it grew to be questions such as, who wouldn't want to be with a successful, handsome, and powerful lad such as Alastair? While not every wealthy man is not how they are deemed, Alastair couldn't be like others, could he? Why not make this dream a reality?

With Alastair standing still, his blackened eyes shifted onto a girl with a familiar face approaching him. Although being at the age of eighteen, she's much shorter than Alastair, around the height of 5'2 at least, and is certainly a ravishing woman.

A pair of big, dazzling hazel eyes with a mole under her left. Back length wavy-grey hair, that looked like nebulous smoke from a cigar. A beautiful skin tone of honey, deemed to even have bears worship her. Wearing a lavish regal dress that's a fusion of blue and platinum, accentuating her lovely curves and catching multiple glances from many bloodholds.

Standing before Alastair, her cherry plump lips curved into a smile and her head dipped, making Alastair's eyes incidentally catch a glimpse of some rather deep cleavage of hers. When she lifted her head back to the young man, his eyes had quickly shifted onto hers. Which caused her face to flush in rose.

"Blood Tor-Breidlove, it's nice to finally see you after these past few years," the young woman spoke with a tinge of seductiveness in her voice.

Alastair nodded, and when she lifted her arm, Alastair made a winsome smile, planting a soft kiss onto the back of her hand, "likewise, Blood Romannoir. Your beauty is always calming to the heart."

Romannoir gave melodic chuckle, "…a charmer as usual. You always manage to come up with the right choice of words."

Alastair took a step closer to Romannoir, looking down onto the pretty woman who is a head and a half shorter, their lips only a few inches away. Causing her heart to flutter with anticipation. "Oh please, Lady Romannoir, or should I say…Nabila. I've been like this since I was a mere toddler, and you know this for sure," Alastair jested with a grin.

Romannoir – or Nabila, replied, "right you are, Alastair." Nabila made a more solemn expression, her lips pursed, "why don't we go somewhere else, hm? I wanna spend more time with you like we used to, Alastair."

Alastair simply smiled shaking his head, "I'll have to decline for now, Nabila. My parents would rather me be here for this occasion. You know how my mother is about these things. I'll be sure to contact you tomorrow."

Nabila huffed, "hmph, fine. But don't have me waiting, Alastair." With another sigh of disappointment, she shook her head, "I guess I'll say hi to Meris and Winston."

With that, Nabila crossed her arms and walked through the guest, making her way to Meris and Winston. As for Alastair, he watched Nabila's short stature amble away, keeping an eye on that round, vixen-like bottom of hers that subtly bounced.

With Alastair by himself again, many other women tried to gain his interest. Unfortunately for these lovely women, Alastair, however, sighed in his head filled with annoyance, 'these women are making my head hurt.'

Alastair only seen these people as leeches, whether they are simply trying to make a better relationship for future purposes or attempting to become intimate. The lad just wasn't interested whatsoever. The most he found entertaining about them, was these people making an effort to try and make such a possibility happen.

A tall and slim gentleman in a blue tuxedo had suddenly approached Alastair. His brown hair is short, and had small blue eyes with a single monocle on his right. He gave a small bow, "Blood Tor-Breidlove, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, sir."

Although the playboy looking lad, Alastair, had a smile on his face, it was only a facade to his more aggravated thoughts. Yet, he showed no such thing, and carried on, "the pleasure is mine, Blood Vauch. How may I help you?"

Bloodhold Vauch gave off a grin and answered, "I was just thinking to ask if you could possibl—"

Suddenly, Alastair's expression altered into a face of surprise, catching sight of crimson liquid spilling through the side of Vauch's temple. Watching his blue eyes quickly lose life as he fell to the ground like a ragdoll. His lifeless body smiting the ground with a hard thump, gathering everyone's undivided attention, and creating silence.

"Oh my…" Alastair spoke in a tone of indifference, but one could still hear the chimes of struck in his voice.

"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!"

"THE PEOPLE OF THE SLUMS ARE ATTACKING US!!!"

The calm atmosphere had altered into an upheaval of screams and confusion, many bloodholds running around like headless pigs as more bodies continued to fall at a fast rate, spewing blood onto the pearly white floor under their feet.

A militia of people in ordinary clothing appeared, walking through the doors with silenced guns, swords, spears, axes, and other deadly weapons.

But a man around Alastair's age, maybe a year or two older – moved forward, clutching onto a long katana as he walked confidently, and filled with anger. He was quite the looker, a cleanly shaved face with red eyes and long navy blue hair tied into a high ponytail, falling to the mesial of his back. He's far more muscular than Alastair for sure, but not overly bulky. Attired in a brown robe and black trousers.

He raised his weapon and shouted, "its time that we – the less wealthy, make a change and fight back against these pigs!! No More!! We will not sit here and let you greedy bastards take our home!!"

All the others behind him released a battle cry, their screams of rage like a ferocious lion. They brandished their weapons and took off, attacking the bloodholds and creating a massacre.

Alastair clicked his tongue, more than agitated from these people. Breaking into his home and spilling the disgusting blood of other wealthy men and women onto his floor.

Alastair inhaled, and exhaled, allowing something to slowly erupt inside himself. When he did this, blackened flames had billowed off his body, brimming with animosity. He held his ground and slowly moved forward, "filthy bastards."
