Arden, Belgrum and Alicia walking on the road. Nobody is talking at all. The last thing they heard and the new situation about Fraus changed their moral to different. Arden was the best one of them as he spoke with Fraus privately and understood his philopsy.
Understanding about Fraus does not mean that he supports him. In the end, Arden have a simplistic mindset, if Fraus kills people to improve his power and survival chance then he needs to be killed to improve other people and their survival chance. Simple as that.
It may sound selfish but it is human nature. Nothing going to change that as long as humans are existing in the universe. Humans will be thinking about themselves in the end and this reality is hard-wired to their body and mind.
Not only humans but also others, other living creatures have same type of living philosply. Kill or be killed, there is no other rule.
