"Dad...."
"I'm going to Paris with Logan."
"Logan?" April's father asked, frowning. Daniel knows his daughter has liked Sean for a long time, and Daniel also prefers April to be with Sean, but after seeing the look of disappointment on April's face, Daniel is forced to allow it.
"Daddy lets you, but Daddy follows Mommy's decision. If she allows, you can go."
April knew this would be difficult. But she still tried to convince her mother to let her go to Paris. She walked to her mother's room and begged her to let her go to Paris. April knocked on her mother's room.
"Who?"
"April, Mom."
"Come in, honey."
April's mother's s room is quite spacious, with a large bed with white mattresses, cream-coloured wall paint, and marble floors. Dark brown furniture makes it even more beautiful. Moreover, the dressing table looks luxurious and neatly arranged. As someone who likes to dress up, it is appropriate for Shannon to pay attention to her dressing table. The table in the corner of the room plays a nostalgic song that seduces the atmosphere.
The song, which Whitney Houston sang, the African-American pop diva, touched April's heart. She was stunned. I Will Always Love You. April realized she still loved Sean. April also understands that her trip to Paris is a journey to forget Sean, who has always been in her heart. April jumped onto the bed and hugged her mother. Shanon understood; they didn't need to talk for the next few minutes. April just needed a hug that was as warm as her first hug to April when she first saw the world. April is crying. And the song Whitney Houston played from the table at the room's far end.
April remembered that kiss scene, and Sean eagerly asked Camila to serve him; they were very passionate about making love, uniting their bodies in front of her eyes. Sean's gaze that was so adoring towards Camila's perfect body made her unable to watch the two of them start a heated struggle in the office of the director of Johanson Corp two days ago. Something broke in her heart, but it also grew back. Like a volcanic eruption, houses and forests are destroyed, but the land will be fertile, and new ecosystems will emerge. But April didn't understand; she just felt it as something strange and foreign but felt so close. She wondered to herself. 'What's this? Love? For who? Logan? Don't make it up, April Archer.' She thought.
After the song was over, Shanon let go of her embrace. She wiped April's tears.
"Apr, what's wrong, honey?"
"It's all right, Mom."
"Tell me, Mommy already knows your temper." Shanon wiped her daughter's tears again.
April shifted her seat and then wiped her tears. She felt like she had grown up but forgot that every daughter would always be a little girl to her mother.
"Sean, I saw him kissing and… making love to Camila Meyer, that artist in Sean's office. I saw him yesterday when I was going to tell him all my feelings for him, Mom. I'm devastated." April was crying again.
"Before I had made over by Bob, the famous makeup artist. I know him because of Logan, he is Logan's friend. And it was Logan who encouraged me to express my feelings for Sean. I didn't expect them to have a relationship without our knowledge, we were very close until .... even though we've been together since childhood. Mom...."
"Mommy knows your pain. But, Apr, this is a love story you have to face."
"I can't, Mom." April sobs pitifully.
"You will be strong because you are April Archer, and you must also be stronger because April Archer is the daughter of Daniel Archer and Shanon Adams. Mommy believes that you must step up even though it is hard and limping."
"Yes, Mom." April nodded and tried to calm down.
April was crying again. Her tears matched the raindrops that day. There seemed to be nothing sadder than April on that day, the heavy rain, the great sadness, and the heavy tears. April was the most miserable person that day. She was strong, but women couldn't hide their sadness in front of a mother. She couldn't, she couldn't.
"Mom, tomorrow I'm going to Paris with Logan," April asked her mother for permission.
Shannon was shocked. She knew precisely who Logan was. A playboy painter, she doesn't want Logan to play with her daughter's feelings, primarily when her daughter is being crushed like now. Shannon was afraid that April would fall in love and get hurt again because of Logan. Shanon also saw that Sean was much more settled financially, but she had no idea Logan had a resort in New York City. Daniel entered the room. Helped to melt Shanon's heart into letting April go.
At the doorstep, Logan and April said goodbye to Shanon and Daniel. Last night, April had thrown away her diary and notes about Sean and had arranged her room very neatly. The name of her favourite author arranged the books. After hugging her parents, April took heavy steps to her practice location.
"We're leaving, Mom, Dad."
Shanon and Daniel got it. It was a long, long goodbye.
April flipped the hanger at her vet's office, which read "CLOSED".
In the taxi, April saw New York City once again. A beautiful and busy city. The sky was as dark as the sky when she saw Sean and Camila making love, an atmosphere that brought rain and gloom. The buildings seemed to want to reach for the sky that they would never be able to get. Like I did to Sean, April returned to her senses and was sad. Logan knew the only thing April needed wasn't encouragement, support, or anything from anyone else. Logan understands that April only needs some solitude, quietness, and slowly coming to terms with it all.
People waited anxiously at the airport, in the waiting chairs, April too. Uneasy about the destination city, who knows what to offer her.

Johanson Corp., New York City.
"Have they been found?" Sean asked his men. He paced back and forth unsteadily at the thought of April's whereabouts.
[ Sir, Miss April and Mr Logan are awaiting departure for Paris at the airport. ]
"WHAT?"
Sean ran out of the building and drove fast to John F. Kennedy Airport. Sean was like a madman checking every prospective passenger waiting for departure when he got there. "Excuse me," Sean unravelled a pair of teenagers who were hugging. From behind, he looked at her hair and posture, similar to April's.
"Hey, dude!" rebuked the man, who was annoyed by Sean's call that separated them.
"Sorry, sorry, I got the wrong person." Sean apologized and then saluted the couple, who looked like they were in love.
"April," Sean muttered, realizing it was too late for him to find the girl and take her home.
