I hate Monday!
Usually it is said by students or employees who take a long holiday. Because of human habits if the synonymous with being negligent, sleeping at night and wakes up late. So if the holiday is over they frantically face Monday, the first day of their activities.
But for a girl named Casandra, it's will be different. Because every Monday means that she will wake up late without anyone intending to wake her up. The alarm sound she installed did not actually make her eyes open. Even though she actually admitted she had woken up but what she did was turn it off again her cellphone alarm and huddled back under the blanket. In her heart she spoke. 'I'll just sleep a little longer.' As soon as half an hour of the alarm sounded again she did the same thing. Until the last alarm she set made a loud sound. Only then she realized she was already late.
And if that happens, then she will immediately get up to the bathroom. It did not take long to put a make up on her face, so as not to be late for work.
"Ouch late." Casandra ran after the bus she used to go to the office. "Hey wait, wait for me. Hufft why driver was so impatient, only just 1 minute late. Oh my God what should i do, i can be fired today." She mumbled.
Casandra remembered the thread of her manager last week. 'Miss Mckenzie, this is the last warning. If you are late again, please immediately resign from this company.' Casandra is still trying to intercept several passing taxis. But unfortunately because today is Monday and also during rush hour not a single taxi has stopped because it has brought other passengers.
"Surely the old woman immediately had reasons to kick me out." Casandra mumbled by herself.
In the midst of her confusion, suddenly the cellphone in her coat pocket rang repeatedly. Casandra pressed the green button, when Rose's name her best friend at work appeard on her cellphone. "Yes Rose, i'll come as soon as possible. Don't worry okay? Just keep an eye to the old woman. Okay bye then."
From a distance, a black Maybach is running the direction of her office. An extreme idea suddenly crossed her mind. Casandra took off her high heels and ran into the middle of the road to stop the car with the intention of wanting a ride so as not to be late to the office.
Fortunately the car was able to stop right in front of the Casandra with a distance of 10 cm. Casandra closed her eyes when the car was getting closer, she cursed her crazy idea just to keep her job.
'I'm i still alive?" She thought. Cold sweat flowed down her temple, her vision blurred because she was too shocked by the incident that was unexpected. The voice of the two men admonishing her, sounded like the hum of bees disturbing her ears. Casandra realized when someone tapped her in the shoulder.
"Miss are you all right?"
"I I'm fine, sorry." Casandra seemed confused.
"I'ts you again huh!" A baritone voice was heard from the side of the car that stopped. The sharp eyes met Casandra's eyes, Casandra felt a cold air in the middle of her who was hot because of the sweat pouring down her body as for her running since morning.
She suddenly trembled because she was nervous about seeing the handsome man with glasses who helped her 2 days a go. The man walked over to Casandra, smiling sarcastically. When he stood in front of her. "Are you willing to die huh!" The man pointed his index finger at Casandra's head. "If you want to die, then go ahead. Don't cause other people to die either. My driver and I still want to live. "The man was very angry, seen from his facial expression that was colder than before. "Rob let's go, we're too late already. Don't mind this mad girl."
"Yes sir."
"Hey wait, sir would you give me a ride? I can be fired if it's late to enter the office until today."
"None of my business."
"Sir pleaseeee." Casandra pulled the man's suit.
The man stared intently at Casandra's hand which was hold on his suit.
"Opssss sorry." Casandra smiled awkwardly and then rubbed the man's suit wich looked a little wrinkled due to the pull of her hand. With one more sharp gaze, Casandra raised both her hands.
"Sorry sir, sorry for wrinkling your suit." Not getting a good response, Casandra blocks the man by spreading her hands in front of the car door.
"What are you doing?" The man's brown eyes turned dark.
"Sir I beg you, pleaseee." Casandra then knelt down holding the man's feet, begging to give her a lift.
"Youuuu." The man was very angry, his emotions were already in the limit.
Feel pity for Casandra, the driver walking toward the man to persuade him. "Sir, just let her come with us, we will be late. The meeting will begin soon."
The man exhaled. "Okay, let's go now."
"Yeayyy." Casandra jumped very happy, a sweet smile emerged from her lips. She almost hugged the man in front of her. But she gave up her intetion after seeing the men's hands raised upwards, as a warning not to touch him. In the Car, Casandra sat quietly next to the man. Several times she glanced at him who was busy reading something on his cellphone.
'Seeing from the car and his appearance, it looks like he is a successful businessman.' Casandra guessed, she then glanced at his hands. Not wearing a wedding ring, nor a ring mark on his finger. That means he is single. 'Oops what was I thinking. Wake up Cash, he is not on your level. Don't dream further.' Casandra hits her temples repeatly.
The man turned a strange look at Casandra.
"Sorry." Casandra whispered.
The man continued reading his cellphone.
Casandra slightly bent her legs then lifted her legs to put on the high heels that she had taken off earlier.
Feeling annoyed, the man turned back to Casandra, but soon he immediately snorted away his face. "Today the skirt you are wearing is very nice, miss. Nothing shorter than that?"
Casandra closed her thighs reflexively when she heard the sarcastic words of the man.
"You want to go to the office or to a nightclub, what a shame."
Casandra blushes because of anger and embrassment, this man is really very sharp with his tongue. She regret that admired him before. Realizing that she was riding in his car, Casandra could only look away in anger.
After a while they finally arrived at the city center.
"Excus me uncle, I'll just get off here. My office is not too far from here." Casandra spoke to the driver and ignored the man
"Alright miss."
Casandra got out of the car without looking back to the man, she walked forward and then knocked on the car window.
"Knok knock knock."
"What's wrong, miss?" The driver asked.
"Thank you uncle, for your help." Casandra kissed the driver on the cheek.
"Miss you should thank my master. I'm just doing my job." The driver felt uneasy.
"Him?" Casandra pointed at the man who was in the back seat. "Tell him, I thank him for helping me twice. If there is a change, I will definetely retrun the favor." Casandra immediately turned her body to hurry to her office.
"Huh crazy girl." The man shook his head.
