"Taking risks has always been hard for me. Whenever there was an opportunity that always opens to me, I tend to ignore it because I was afraid that I might fail and I would let down the people around me. Saying things like I would like to try it, but ended up not even taking the first steps, or I would take the first step, but only the first step. I never continue what I have started. It's always like that."

I sighed as my sessions with Dr. Garcia ended. "Come visit me here next week ok for your next appointment." the woman smiled at me gently as she said those words. I just responded with an emotionless "ok " as I was too tired to answer her properly. As I exit the clinic I was welcomed by the honk of the car of my mom. "Hi, honey have you finished your sessions with Dr. Garcia," mom asked. "yeah, mom can we go now?" I asked my mom pleadingly, "sure honey" she just responded smiling.

I know that smile, that smile that means she has a lot to say but chooses not to talk and just smiled. I was thankful to her somehow, knowing that I don't want to talk she read that. I just smiled back at her and plugged the earphones into one of my ears just in case she wants to have a conversation with me. I looked out of the window and saw a big line of traffic, great just I hate this country. 'am I going to be late again' I looked at my phone and notice the time. 'ok It's still early. "Ela why don't you sleep some more" mom spoke to me. "mom please don't call me that name, and I'm ok I'm not that sleepy". Mom just smiled as I looked at her.

I looked back out the window while my favorite song from LIME was playing on my earphone. I was thinking If only I hadn't backed down back then would have I won? I say that I'm not sleepy but my eyes are giving out, 'maybe a little nap won't hurt'

As I woke up from my nap I noticed that we have arrived at school. I rubbed my eyes so that I can see better. I came out of the car smiling as a see my friends. "NEOOOOMAA" Sam run to me as she approaches with a big wide smile and arms attempting to hug me. But I dodged it Arya was laughing in the distance, as she was approaching she was preparing a fist bump with me "yo" she said while smirking. She has such a girl crush vibe, short hair, and almost masculine features but is still pretty. While Sam has a very girly vibe because of her choice of clothing.

'ha, such attractive people being friends with me' I just looked at my reflection and sighed 'why am I so plain'. "Is something wrong Neo?" Arya noticed my sighing. "Nope I'm fine" I shrugged off and just smiled at her, she looked as if concerned.

As we are walking down the hallway some of my friends that we walked passed, says their good morning to me, and I also returned their good morning smiling brightly. If you think I'm popular well I'm not, I just know a lot of people because I was an active student, I used to always join new clubs every school year I know ridiculous, but because of it, I made a lot of acquittances.

But I never really remain in those clubs for certain reasons, but there is one club that I can't leave even though we don't have that many activities, the LIME club well it was the club made by supporting the band of LIME but they suddenly disappeared because of a very unfortunate accident. Their plane that was used for touring crashed living the only band member that didn't get into the plane at that time

But I won't get into the story, it's too long. As for the club, it was founded by the band LIME. Yup, they were from the very same school as I am. And the only members were me, Sam, and Arya, and since they also both play an instrument, we also became the band of the school. But we did not plan to be an official band only a school band. we do intermissions in school events and we can say we have quite the fan base inside the school. Well, it almost contains the fangirls of Arya she was the vocalist after all.

The sound of the recess bell made me woke up from my daydream. I stood up to buy myself a snack at the canteen but someone pulled me aside from the hallway. "Hey! what is your problem, I almost tripped there!" I shouted at whoever pulled me to the side. "ok chill, sorry ok" said someone with a sassy tone. "Anyways I want to be a part of your band" I looked at the person and I did not notice that and they were a guy. I just spoke tiredly "Just go to our leader and spoke to her I don't have time for this". I attempted to leave him there but he pulled me again. "oh come on I'm hungry" I annoyingly replied to him, I don't have time for this I still need to finish my nap. I sighed 'people are a pain in the but'.

"wow, I just remembered how you smiled brightly with other students or did you just fake it to please others?" he just smirked at his snide remark as if he had just discovered something so amazing. "oh no you have found it out" I monotonously replied to him, I tried to brush him off but wouldn't let go of my hand. I tried to fight his grip but he was too strong for me.

I felt that he has given me something in my hand so I looked at it and it was a cloud 9 chocolate bar. "Here, accept this and I in return let me in your club" did he just bribe me? Yup. Did it work? Absolutely! "Whatever, sure follow me. I'm on my way there anyway". As we are on our way to the club room we have met several students that are either saying or just plainly smiling at me. I smile at them too, it would be rude for me not to

"Woah as the rumors say from your brother you are a people pleaser." He said that I could not clear here.

"Did you say anything?" I asked. "Nope let's just keep walking" he just smiled at me but I can feel that he was onto something. When I was about to say something I just realized that we had reached the club room, and to my surprise, no one is there right now. "What they are still not here, but at this time they would be the first to come here?" I wondered. "Ok I guess you should just come back later this lunch, byeeee" I pushed him as I was delighted to be alone in the club room for the first time, but it soon crushed as he had given me a form. I read it and to my shock, he was a part of the club already and Arya have approved of it

With the look on her face, I snickered a little at her before speaking " look sorry again haha, I just want to see your reaction, and didn't your leader talk to you about it?" I asked which she did not know. "I think she was talking about it lately but I thought it was just nothing" she looked at me while saying " gosh sorry I treated you like that I did not know" she looked so concerned about it. " hey it's ok and besides, we should introduce our selves" I started.

" I'm Neel Oldrik Guevarra, I play the guitar. Nice to meet you uhm?" I looked at her waiting for her name "Neoma Elara Shane, I also play the guitar I also do the second Vocal" she paused for a second, seemingly hesitant. I Looked at her reaching for her hand for a handshake, "Nice to meet you" she said as she takes my hand and shakes it firmly. I smiled at her, 'this would be interesting'
