Today's swimming competition has just ended and teachers called the heads of each team in the hall for the discussion about the next two competition.
And here in my team's room we are debating on who should go there.
" I'm tired after the competition" I said.
" But you are the only one who can stand up against seniors" Tom said.
" Yeah,those ass lickers , teachers always listen to them ignoring our points " Karl said .
" Then just tell them to go to hell " I said as I buried my face in the pillow.
" Say those world in front of Mr. Butcher " Alexa said as she chuckles .
I groaned at this statement of her. Mr. Butcher only listen to the kids he taught . Once me and my friends got into a fight with his students over football match , they started the whole fight but put the whole blame on us and Mr. Butcher was the one who supported them the most as for me I also argued with him but all in just vain he never thought about anything else and as a result me and my friends were suspended from school for a week.
This thought still came as a nightmare for me .
" That old geezer " I said in a frustrating voice.
" One day I will surely lit a cracker inside his pants for sure to teach him a lesson" I further added.
" Okay so it's decided , Sam is going " Alexa said.
" Why don't you go ?" I asked .
" Because we always got neglected whenever it comes to seniors because of teachers . Only you can stand their making them feel insecure " Jenny butted in between.
" Looks like future wife is asking something from you Sam " Karl said as mocking me .
" Okay whatever , I'm going then" I finally agreed.
They all were having a smile on their faces after I agree .
I was going towards the hall where we have the meeting . As I entered the hall everyone was gazing at me and Mr. Butcher was the one giving instructions to the students.
" Maybe you are doing a great job ,but not being punctual is still something no one can ignore when an important discussion is going on " Mr. Butcher said thinking I will apologize to him .
" Only stupids have free time " I mocked him as I took the chair in the last row and sat down.
" You,brat....." said he.
" Mr. Butcher we should focus on the main topic these fights can wait " my homeroom teacher jumped in between.
Butcher closed his eyes for a moments and said " As for tomorrow only five teams can participates from both sides , because it will be too time consuming and energy draining for the participants ". There was a chit chat going on between the students after listening to this .
Butcher continued ignoring this chatter " We also get to know about this today so it's also a shock for us too ".
" We have to decide those five teams so that they can practice for tomorrow " he further added.
" We don't have to worry about this sir , this time we have our own experienced players for basketball competition " the vice head boy, Jack declared looking in my direction.
" Then I guess I'm not helping you guys getting lost tomorrow, have a worst lost " I said as I started going outside.
" Stop Sam " my homeroom teacher stopped me .
" The thing is in this match we can make team of five players irrespective of their class groups ,that's why you all are here " she told.
" oh" left my mouth .
" Must be because Max's condition is still not good enough that's why they did this " I thought.
" You all are here so that we can make a perfect team to fight against them " Butcher said.
" We all know Sam is doing a great job alone ,so he will be the ace of our team and other members will be Richard, Sunny, Merinda and Jack . This will be our ace team to win against them as we all already have seen the differences " Butcher continued on.
At this moment Jack wasn't able to hold back and said " Why him sir pointing at me maybe he is doing a great job but he is still have no experience instead of him Frio will be more suitable "
" We understand you were with him during the nationals but still he was a substitute ,we also can't ignore this " another teacher supported me .
Unable to handle more of this nonsense I blurted out " So idiot you want to have a substitute player instead of a player who played against the NBA players , then go and have him".
At this moment their eyes were out realising what I'm .
" We agreed to our team ,Mr. Butcher " Richard said . Richard was the head boy of our school and was kind towards me also as I helped him once getting out of a situation in past.
With this the meeting continued on after the five teams were created .
As we all started to went towards the exit , Richard came to me and said " Excited to play with you ,but don't be late for the practice at 5 in evening, see you later" .
" See you later" I replied . And went towards my room .
