"Soldier, take my daughter into the Capital!" The Warrior Queen of the Sven Borgia Kingdom commanded to one of her knight while she was on combat as she drew her sword fighting with the hungry ghouls along with the other knights.
"Mother! I'm not leaving you in here mother!" cried the princess, as she was held by their knights for evacuation as the undead legion attacked their place. They took her and rode her with their fully armored horse and headed to the Capital hurriedly. Sorrow engulfed her as she knew already what was going to happen.
Hungry ghouls led by one of the prince of hell, Satan, slaughtered many of the people of Sven Borgia. Bloods blended with the snow, splashed and scattered as it painted the whole town with its terror.
Few of civilians of the town survived the bloody incident as they immediately evacuated while many other didn't made it. They headed their way into the Capital, unfortunately, the queen died standing on her ground fighting along with her brave knights, buying her people a time for a headstart to get out of the town.
It was almost a week of traveling their way into the Capital. Their journey was as tough as the enemy as she watched some of her people got slowly weakened and sicked because of severe injuries. Skinny bodies and white, peeled off lips that some just fainted and died because of hunger and dehydration. Everytime they closed their eyes, and even in the sleep, those events still sowing terror in their dreams, a nightmare.
It was on their fifth day of traveling, dewy leaves in the jungle of Lushy Plains touched their skins in the tropical cold morning. The princess felt that they were almost there as they reached the jungle. They took a rest a little bit and she commanded her troops to hunt some wild animals to provide something to eat for their starving refugees. Empathy of sadness burdened her while watching them suffering like this. While she fell into her deep thoughts, thinking about how would she was going to lead her people without her mother knowing that she was still so young of her late teens, orphaned from a total massacre. Suddenly, there was a voice of a women she heard talked inside her head, she thought that she was getting crazy.
"Etheline? Etheline..." the ethereal voice whispered.
"What! ughhh! am I getting crazy?" Etheline frustratedly and confusedly said to herself as she tapped her head three times, making sure that wasn't getting crazy.
"You're not crazy, I am real." the voice said.
"Do you heard that?" Etheline said to her knight companion.
"What your majesty?" the knight replied.
"I am real Etheline, you're just the only one who can hear me because I chose you." the voice said again. "I can see you're in so much trouble, real trouble. Those demons, I can help you and your people from them. If you just let me.."
"Let you what..?" Princess Etheline asked.
"If you let me in to you, if you let me use you as my vessel. But once you gave your body to me, Father will take your soul and store it to heaven." the voice said.
"Please, please, please! Get out of my head!" Etheline madly said.
"Let me help you not to fullfil your destiny of being the evil womb." the voice said.
"Please, get out of my head!" Etheline furiously cried, for hearing this kind of horrible things that talked about of her destiny.
After resting for a couple of hours, they resumed their journey heading their way into the Capital knowing that they don't have much time to rest, as their instinct felt that the monsters were still tracking their trail. None of them have been able to seek a knowledge of knowing about that demon's purpose of the massacre. Whatever that demon want from them remained a mystery for now. All they felt right now were churning stomach and the fear powered by the adrenaline running through their veins, struggling for survival. A terrifying gust of the wind ruffled into them as it ignited the sharp low pitch howling cries of infants wrapped in a cloth, a sling baby carrier hanged onto the mothers. Everyone was annoyed by it which that gave them a horrifying sensations comes from the blowing cold air. Horses suddenly stopped, and getting out of controlled. Horses suddenly died came from something like a witchcraft, a voodoo thing, dark magic killed the horses as the princess fell hardly on the from riding onto it. The thick mist suddenly surrounded them in the middle of the jungle of Lushy Plains as it obscured their visions. People were scared, as women were starting to freak out and little children were crying knowing that they don't have nowhere to run as their horses were petrified by dark magic. Knights made their fighting stances, preparing their selves to engage on whatever enemy it is but it's hard to see it along with the mist. Knights were helplessly taken down one by one. Blood in, blood out, horrifying sounds of bones getting fractured, hearing the incision sounds of wounds being made as the throats were getting slitted as the blood spilled on the ground. The mist was gradually disappearing. When the mist were almost gone, they just found out themselves being surrounded by demonic creatures, Ghouls, corrupted ogres and goblins and the two princes of the abyss, Satan and Asmodeus.
"Hello dear little naughty princess... How do you like to make a deal with us?" the deep, husky voice of Asmodeus greeted her. The devilish Casanova looks in his eyes, shagged cut hair with an evil charmer lips, and a clean unbearded face of a man with a look of his mid thirty's.
"What do you want from me?" Etheline asked them in a shaking voice.
"If you come with us and fullfil your destiny, surrender your pureness to us and give us what we want, your people can freely go." Satan said. "If you refuse, then I can always enjoy tearing them into pieces , like what I did to your mother."
"You filthy demon!" She cried. "I'm gonna make you pay for that!"
Etheline rushed towards them and drew her sword to them and so as her knights and her people who just forced to fought for their lives. Etheline stabbed Asmodeus with her sword but he just healed real quick with his dark power. He choked her and threw her on the ground hardly. She watched her people getting massacred by the evil creatures, blood scratches and cracking of fractured bones. She was helpless that leaves her no choice but to accept the voice's offered to her. The voice who are talking to her was Arielle, sent by heaven to prevent the demons from their evil plans. Now, she got Etheline's body as her vessel, for the first time, it was so strange for her being inside in the mortal flesh. She casted a burning power of heavenly light to Satan that got nearly killed him but unfortunately, he got quickly got out of his vessel and flew away into the air to find another body to possessed. Asmodeus quickly ran away and get back to abyss. She killed all of the evil creatures that surrounded them in a single burning blow of light that burnt the darkness upon them. But it was too late for Etheline's people. All of them are already got killed before she killed all of the evil creatures.
This was the day the Angel who named Arielle made her first step in the earth. Quested by The Almighty One to help His mortal creations to fight against the evil. Arielle wasn't the only angel who was sent by Him, the four Archangels also, especially Mikhael or known as Khael. HE assigned them into different quests to do. Khael used the body of a dying old king as his vessel two hundred years ago on that time when God gave him his first quest.
"That was on a long time ago. The first day we made in here. I shouldn't be doing this right now. Alister, this is Khael. In Heaven, I am Mikhael. You must have to find her quick before it gets too late, she was in the place where the day is always dusk. A purgatory. A place where soul are being judged according to their deeds. If you want to find her there, first, you have to die, and when you find her there, someone should have to pull you out from there. You can find and seek a help from Psyche, daughter of Zeus, she can help you how to get in there through summoning a soul reaper. Etheline's body was store inside a frozen throne on the far north. Someone should also go in there to guard it before the demons find where it is. Hurry up because I don't have much time." Khael said to Alister, as he communicated with him through inside Alister's dream. Khael reminisced a short story to him from the past to make him understand why the demons were doing it.
"Alister! Wake up!" Dante yelled. "We have to go now."
"He also talked to you in your dream, didn't he?" Alister asked.
"Yes, you and Peebles will go find that Psyche. Me and Luther will go to the north. Let's do this together." Dante suggested. "Let's make it right this time."
That day when Arielle made Satan to get out from his vessel, Satan's got lost hovering into the air until he found out another vessel. A perfect vessel to be possessed as he can read his mind knowing that this man and him have the same desire. A desire to gain more power. It was Hades, this time, Hades was punished by his brother Zeus after he tried to assassinate the king and all of his fellow mages. His biggest dream was to take over the throne of the empire but his evil plan failed after being busted by his brother Zeus. Hades was imprisoned this time, carried by a steel carriage being transported on the way to the underground prison of Atlantis. Satan possessed him but he still let him take into the prison, until the time passed by, he and Lucius Bryxton find him there as Lucius used his royalty to bailed him from the prison. Zeus was so frustrated about it as he tried to make a petition to it but the royal power wins when it comes to it. Lucius tried to manipulate Hades to help him with his plan to take over the throne again, but he didn't knew, he was the one who was being tricked by him as the demon Satan was the one who's in control of Hades right now. Satan has now knew every single place inside the Atlantis and the Alliance Empire as he used Hades as his vessel.
In the present time after Lucius became the new king of the Empire, Satan was on his lair somewhere in the barren lands of the death valleys, inside the underground cave of the highest valley in there where his servants of darkness were there waiting for him to command them.
The whole Alliance were in the huge crisis as the people were making protests against Lucius. Huge piles of bone fires with the paintings of his face were being toasted on it. They desperately wanted him to give up the throne that's why Lucius headed his way to meet Hades outside the wall of the Southpass near at the gloomy forest. When he got there, Hades was already standing near at the woods. He approached him with a huge disappointment on his face.
"Hades! You must have to do something!" Lucius furiously said to him.
"Wait, who's Hades?" he answered while he revealed to him his demonic dark eyes. Lucius was shocked the time he saw his eyes, his anger was replaced by his fear. "Funny thing about you human is... all of you were too dumb about everything. You're easy to deceived, easy to read your mind. You're nothing but a pathetic soul inside a meat suit!" Satan said again as he choked him single handedly until he beheaded him. Hades picked up and hold Lucius' head and he go inside the Alliance. When he got into the townsquare, he put the head on the stick in front of the crowd and then ran away as Zeus and Odin chased him. The whole Alliance now was in panic knowing that demon inside Hades' body was in and out in there for a long time. Wondering why how he made to pass the sacred vanguard, it is because Lucius gave him the guardian amulet on that day in the prison when it was the first time invented by Hermes and the walls were getting vindicated by the sacred water and the sacred vanguard.
The Alliance now was in so much trouble. The Bryxton dynasty has now ended. No king to lead its people in the middle of this crisis and people were full of doubts and lack of trust to those whoever takes the throne, traumatized from everything happened watching lives being taken for nothing.
Zeus and Odin fell into a trap after chasing Hades into the gloomy forest. They were surrounded by demonic creatures and the hell knight Abaddon as they both felt how powerful this demon was, plus Satan himself revealed to them. The two powerful mages of the Alliance had fallen into the hands of the enemy, captured somewhere else.
