"So humans here in the real world count too so life isn't that precious is it. I walked into a dungeon that was a battle of worlds but got kicked out after killing so many from both sides of the war unfortunately."
The figure licks the blood off their lips with scarlet eyes reflecting the corpses on the ground that was carved into pieces by a scythe. They laugh their black hood falling off their head revealing white hair slowly fading into the shadows on their face that emphasizes the empty scarlet red eyes.
They murmur "Darkness behold my sacrifice of blood so that the souls who are tormented may rest for I guide them to the afterlife ever since the day has shown power. For an eternity I shall die in torment for I have sinned and this is my wage."
The dense bloodlust surrounding this person shines across their scythe making the shadows dance with agony and madness. They continue to murmur and walk occasionally pausing to drink the blood of their victims.

I get teleported out of the dungeon where I started and see a person walking down an alley when the person next to them collapses to the ground their head falling off. I gasp in shock and the person turns around and I see them licking the blood off their lips before they say "Oh. you actually have a strong aura around your soul. My name is Cruxio."
I say " I have just started to grow stronger why don't we go into a dungeon to get stronger and evolve our classes."
He looks at me and says "Sure but let's spar first till first blood."He rushes at me so quick that I can't respond but my passive triggers. I don't get notified what he gets but he coughs blood and quickly steps back and says "Well done Soulful One what is your name?"
I respond "my name is Kylog Zen and I am glad you didn't kill me."
He looks at me questionly and says " Why would I kill someone who has not killed. I can sense the taint on evil souls that are stained with the souls of intelligent beings or at least that's how it's described."
"Oh I'm sorry I assumed you killed random people." I say quietly but still believe he may have lied. He begins to lead me a certain way and we end up running to a group of two and I see Cruxio's eyes widen and hear him mumble "He is stained in death but his soul is consumed by vengeance that has barely started to smolder and his soul power is sealed."
MC point of view
We are halfway to a new dungeon when I feel the Reaper Cards presence. I am surprised he found me this early guess I'll have to break a chain raising my rank to S. I silently break the chain containing my soul power leaving more then a thousand of them left. I hear him leap towards me but I freeze his blood and turn to look into his eyes and say " The Reaper Card that he made finally found me and he sent you to kill me again did he. how many times will he try this?."
I hear Yumina gasp and say "what is the Reaper Card? Why would they hunt you?."
I explain about the ability of the Reaper Cards ability to see how many you have killed which will obviously show a very stained soul cause I have fought my nemesis for many years killing his servants and Cruxio hears this and says "Who would believe that you are the one who is fighting him and why would I not kill someone who has killed someone else?"
I then yelled at him "it even counts if it was an accidental or even if it was mercy killing only the one who last hurt them counts even if it is cause you are trying to save them also look at me and see how many souls I would give if I died."
He looks closely then he gets shocked and says "No way I would only get a thousand when you have killed trillions and more that I can't see but why is your soul sealed and you just broke a chain on it."
I say "it had a cost" as blood leaked from my eyes and ears along with my mouth. I begin to faint but beforehand I say " I thought I could hold on longer but it seems like I will finally die and no longer have to seek vengeance. Well done Old Friend."
Cruxio's View
I see him fall but I can't help but think that he might be telling the truth and just be trying to help this world but if this power he has can overpower me in an instant it means that if all the chains broke he could theoretically destroy this planet with a single finger. He also said well done Old Friend barely where I could hear it.
Meaning his friend is the one he wants vengeance against what happened and why I want to know and why is he playing a game with all of us. I think his friend might be trying to apologize to him for whatever he did by making a fun game for him.
