It was a windy afternoon even though the sun was still standing tall behind the mountain range. Birds chirped, leaves fell and flew, and tree branches swayed along the wind were heard.
A puff of air along the wind filled with grass smell wafted within the room taking advantage of the gap the window made.
'Urgh... smelly...' Arledge thought with a disgusted face while his nose twitch the grassy smell.
Arledge woke up from his slumber after his exhaustion earlier. It was now afternoon but still morning the grassy smell was still present.
He looked outside to know the time.
After seeing that it was still afternoon, he knew that Victor will not be back for a few hours, he immediately open the system after knowing that he still has a lot of time.
'System' he thought and the system tabs immediately appeared in his mind.

Earlier before he fell asleep, he heard a system notification inside his head. He saw it was the shop tab that the notification content so without even glancing at the other tabs, he opened the shop tab.

'I gathered 100 points from just drinking milk and a useless tap tap system...' he thought it was too small as he can't even buy an item from that except for the healing potion.
He don't know why the system is slowly showing the content below though but he didn't question. He liked the mysteriousness.
'I should be glad that I have this many points considering this predicament...' he pondered then continue to look below.

'Again?' he exclaimed as he saw it was a healing potion in the shop tab again.
'I thought that the system shop was random?... then how unlucky am I to get a useless healing potion again?...' he thought.
He can accept the healing potion itself as an item deserving to be put in the system shop but it's the price is what he can't accept.
At first, he thought that the healing potion in the previous system shop was a bug as the system itself has many errors but now he can't tell if this was a system problem or it was the actual price.
'Why the hell is the healing potion price 30 coins?...is the system scamming me?' he thought as he can't find any reason for the absurd price.
The price was fine if it was not something that anyone can do! which is true in some sense if one has the things needed for the potion.
The herbs needed for the healing potion were quite common in the sense that anybody can find them as soon as he steps out of the city.
But the most important thing about the healing potion was not the herbs but the magicules magia put within. As doing so would activate the properties of the herbs and turn them into a healing potion.
One's mana pureness was also an important factor in the making of a healing potion. More pure more benefits.
Once a healing potion was successfully made one can immediately consume it and will take effect in seconds to minutes.
Although one can also hire a healer to heal his wound but not many do that as doing so would be extravagant. One can also go to a doctor if one can afford the service.
Healers are considered rare in this world as healing properties were basically a one in a million magic attribute. And those healers hiring price was exorbitant to the point that the patient will have to sell his arms and legs to afford the price.
'Is the price of other things too overpriced?...' he thought as he felt that the system was indeed scamming him.
But then he suddenly remembered that the coins he got can be deemed free as he got those coins just by drinking milk and some from the tap tap system, so he didn't think about the absurd price anymore as long as the items he bought can help him.

Arledge was delighted as he saw the strengthening potion. He was smiling widely without him noticing. It was wide to the point it can reach his ears.
'Lucky!' he thought contrasting what he said earlier.
'The system said that the items displayed were randomized...' he thought.
By analyzing that sentence, he knew that there were many items aside from what he has seen. It can be one or even a million, no one knows.
'But the strengthening potion still appeared in the shop...' he thought.
Knowing that there are many other items currently unavailable in the shop and still getting a strengthening potion, was a mystery to himself.
'Am I the mc?!...' he exclaimed with glittering eyes.
Luckiness follows around the main characters as well as dangers. He assumed he was the main character from just getting a strengthening potion again out of many other unknown items.
He didn't delve into his fantasy more and continued to read the last item. He stabilized his emotions and look toward the last row.

'Am I really the mc!?...' he once again exclaimed with glittering eyes.
This time though he was really sure he was the main character as this was the second time he got what he wanted.
For the first time he knew he was in a new world where people use mana to be strong, he had always wanted to have that power but he didn't know how to.
But after reading the description of the last item, hope suddenly appeared in his important needs and it was also a skill that will let him be strong!
He was excited about the future he envision. In that future, he was so powerful! So much that he can make the world tremble with a sheer amount of power. In simple terms, he was on the top, overlooking the world as if it was in the palm of his hand and everything he do was causing the world to change.
However, that hope and anticipation plummeted when he saw the price the system gave.
'10 system points!?...damn that's a lot of milk drinking!' he exclaimed.
But after thinking about it thoroughly, he acknowledge the exorbitant price as he thought 'How can power be easily obtained by just that? of course the system will make it harder.'
Ten system points were not much he must say as countless possibilities may happen after acquiring it.
By thinking so, he now didn't think much of the price and focus on the benefits after buying it.
What his problem now, however, was how to get a thousand points. Yes, he had already calculated the amount he needed. It was simple math, not that complex.
Somehow, he knew that drinking milk was not enough to gather that many points even though he still doesn't know exactly what amount he can get in a month.
'Right now, what I needed is to find how to get points...' he thought while his hands is on his chin.
He tried to find an answer to his problem. But he can't find any. It was as if his brain reserve was not enough, making his brainpower futile.
Seeing that he can't get answers, he will let the system answer his question. Even though he didn't know if he can get a satisfying answer from the system.
But it was better than not getting any. Might as well try. Without hesitation, he opened the host service tab.

What he saw was a set of underscores. He was used to seeing it as he more often open it than other tabs.
He asked about the system like where did it come from? , why he was reincarnated? , is he the chosen one? and other ethical and nonsensical questions.
He also often received an answer like host authority not enough, explore it himself, or the system just didn't answer.
He focused his thought on the provided space and insert his question.
