Though the man was only a step away from Zuri, the moment he tried to enter the hidden compartment that her lady had prepared, a force of some sort pushed him away.
A barrier came into life, humming softly. Its shine wasn't bright and it was transparent, but it was definitely noticeable.
Dazedly, he looked at Zuri and her two children.
"Mom…?"
Rabi and Ario stared at the man, petrified.
"Shush, it's okay."
Zuri wrapped the magical cloak around her two children.
"No!" Rabi pushed the cloak away, disgusted by it. "I won't wear that!"
"But-"
"NO!"
Rabi glared at Zuri defiantly. She was ready to fight Zuri if she were to try and force the cloak upon her. And honestly, deep inside, Zuri didn't want to have her daughter wear the cloak either.
"What the fuck is this?"
