Thankfully, something came up. It was something that was prickling at her curiosity as well. Back then, Savine was polite, softspoken, and spoke somewhat childishly, at least in some parts. Today, however, she was nothing like her previous self. There was an air of settled arrogance around her, her speech pattern and mannerism had zero childish parts as well.
"Ah, well, I try not to garner too much attention when traveling," she said. "It's not so easy to have this white hair of mine, see? I don't want to further pique the curiosity of onlookers by speaking as I normally do. I know it sounds unnatural."
So she knew.
"Then tell me, what business did you have in the North?"
"My answer's the same as before."
Savine waved her Vasa and a seat materialized under her. Two more appeared behind Murkato and her husband as well. Savine had already sat down, and was gesturing at the two to sit down.
Murkato did not refuse. The same was for her husband.
