Anastasia's proclamation of her identity was not out of place. After all, I am in a fantasy world when I should be dead. Common sense would still require that you continue to fight the reality of these things... but my sense is uncommon.
Fourteen rings, she never talked about the other seven which were the seven rings of virtues, her only statement was...
"They have no right to judge my sisters when they are as rotten as them."
From the way she spoke of her sisters, I could tell of the genuine love she felt for them. Seven rings were suddenly brought to a stranger 237,000 years ago, she tagged along incognito because she was worried about them initially, but when she saw the havoc that her sisters had begun to wreck upon the world, she was in despair and knowing that she was the only one that could stop them even made her more miserable.
However, to stop her sisters, she needed a ring bearer, she searched and searched but could not find one worthy. Alas a powerful entity interfered knowing that this entity's power was not enough to take care of all seven of them she transferred half of her strength to this entity and with that, he was able to seal her sisters. But that was not enough as even though they were sealed, they were all entities of maliciousness and every human kneeled before their temptation. So the havoc didn't stop.
There was nothing she could do at this point, she needed to recuperate as she didn't get a chance to retrieve her powers from this person hence she hibernated until I woke her.
And now she wants me to help her find her sisters and be their Goshujin sama...
"That is impossible Anastasia. How can I be the ringleader for seven rings of the seven deadly sins of humanity? Did you forget I'm human too?"
"No, Goshujin. I can feel it, I know you're special."
Those words, those words, in my entire life no one has ever said them to me.
"I think you are thinking too much of me," I replied her with a sheepish grin.
"Think of it this way: I'm sure millions or thousands of people died that same day you died, some that were even more righteous than you are, so why was it only your call that I could hear? When a ring hears the wishes of a person it means such person has the potential to be her ring bearer. Hence a ring can only hear wishes when the person fulfils the standard of her wishes. That's how ring bearers are chosen."
She looked closely into my eyes with excitement in hers.
"Of course, I believe you. But asking me to find and save your sisters is you thinking too much of me. Plus aren't they named after the seven deadly sins for a reason? Me wielding the rings of seven deadly sins might just turn me into the wretched human to ever exist."
"That is impossible because you have me. Now that we are even bounded all my powers are your powers, you are the balance. If you want you can even wield the seven rings of virtue too. But with me alone you are stronger than all of them." She said with a prideful scoff.
"So what powers do I have?"
Her demeanour changed as I asked, she smiled widely and folded her arms
"Goshujin sama, you are finally ready. First, we shall start with a daily workout. Your body is too weak, even though you have much power, you are still human, we need to build stamina before anything."
"...I was going to anyway, I'm in a fantasy world so there's no way I'll leave myself defenceless."
... ... ...
>Qualis kingdom<
>Ahlait Coast in Muscarat City<
"Don't fall behind!!"
~WHOOOSH~
His body projected into the baleful wind of the coast, the wind was so disastrous that even the sky had lost its bright colour and had darkened. The strong waves of wind were driven by several hurricanes that kept pouring upon the land. Amidst it Ashur Sibi Athtor-Dhu-kabdh the third Prince of Qualis kingdom showed no angst against the mighty rushing wind, instead, he held his black spear tightly as he flew through the typhoon. With his might he funnelled the spear in his hand causing a massive supersonic wind push that dispersed the entire atmosphere, even amidst it he managed not to be pushed back by the might of his throw.
The spear delved into the windstorm, as it went deeper and farther all that could be seen of it was a blue light that kept going and into the hurricane it went.
~KABOOOOM~
An explosion sufficed in between the water causing the large hurricanes to disperse.
~THUD!~
Ashur landed on the ground afterwards and gazed upon the sea.
His eyes were golden but he was dark-skinned with black hair, he was dressed in a lightweight fabric material, a shawl that covered the top of his hair and left his ponytail flying, a sleeveless tunic that showed of his dark-skinned muscles, a blue fabric tied to his waist which held his wide trousers that had a linear opening up to his heels, revealing his skin. His trousers wiggled along with the wind as he stood there gazing upon the sea.
He stretched his hand out and...
~WRRRIINNNGGGGG~
The spear spun back in his hands.
~THUD!~
He smacked it on the ground causing a slight tremor.
*huff*
*huff*
"What the hell?!"
Ashur looked behind him to see his little brother Malik Nusku Athtor-Dhu-kabdh, the fifth Prince of Qualis, out of breathing and out of stamina.
"Brother? - - - is this not craziness? - - to think you can fight the weather- - - aren't storms like this the rage of the gods from what has transpired hundreds of millennia ago?" Malik said, dressed the same way as his brother but with a sleeved tunic.
"Don't believe all you are thought by those old muealims. Watch Malik, this is beyond the raging of the gods. This is an activity of a demonic beast."
His spear made a ringing sound as if it was jumping with excitement.
"See, even Hifara knows this much."
