Chapter 34 - The MC Saves The Day II

Amazing, Amazing, amazing no words but amazing could fit this resplendent transformation.

The black-haired young man with black eyes as he emerged out of his ether energy with the same face but his hair was now brown and blonde, his eyes were deep blue coloured and his attire changed completely to a white and black tunic with blue accents, armoured boots that reached above his knee, a black coloured cape, apart from that he wore a black metallic fauld on his waist, a scabbard was hanging down his waist and in his hand was a sword which he carelessly rested on his shoulder.

It was my first time seeing a fusion state. I stretched out my hand and gave him the hand signal that indicated him to come.

~Whoooosh~

Was it just me? This man left trails of water as he swept towards me, it was like he surfed through.

~WHAM~

~clang!~

He was thrown away as he slashed down his sword right in front of my face. He's speed was overwhelming, I would have sustained a cut if it wasn't for Ars praesidium. The distance between the ground and my feet was barely a foot, I stepped down and look towards Avery who had entered the dungeon long ago.

"Now, let's enjoy this!!!" I said, spreading my arms into the air, "Multi spell casting: Fireball!!!"

Multiple magic circles appeared behind me, feeling the whole space behind him.

~Eeghk~

He freaked out upon seeing it.

"An archmage? What is such a Transcendental existence doing in this place?"

I couldn't relate to what he was saying, I just wanted to freely explore my fantasies, creating spells that I don't know if they exist in this world, trying out some concepts I read in novels.

I was enjoying myself.

The magic circle began to roll, for multicasting it was expected that it would take a bit more time though Ana spoke of a skill that would hasten my spell casting and enable chantless casting, which means all I have to do is think it and the magic happens. But she refused to teach me, she claimed I wasn't ready...

~WHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~

All at once, the multiple magic circles behind me deployed a large burst of fire towards my opponent, such that the entire environment was dominated by the heat, pressure and reflection of the fireball and the explosion it caused.

But to my surprise, he raised his sword and began, "Grand skill: Water Fortress"

~Whoooosh!~

~Whooosh~

The entire scenery in front of me changed entirely, a surge of water as big as the ocean came from nowhere, drowning the explosions of my fireballs. And as the smoke screen it caused cleared, the magnifying image of a tall wall fortress all made of water stood out before me. The prima however I could not see, my guess was,

'He's behind the fortress.'

"Grand skill, it seems vassal weapons are stronger than I even thought, to render your magic useless like that," Ana said.

"The fact that his blue ether transformed to water means he's high levelled prima who is wielding at least a grade S vassal weapon."

"Don't overestimate yourself, it's grade A. I can tell just by looking..."

'Really, and it's that strong...' I wondered as I prepared my next attack.

I grinned, because of the thought of what was going to happen after I used this.

I stretched forward my hand towards his fortress of water, "Ars Ignis: Boiling point"

~Whoooooooossshhh~

A large ball of fire appeared in front of my palm, the heat melting and blasting away the surrounding.

~Whhhiiissshhh~

It began to condense into a small ball of fire, it didn't stop until it condensed into the size of a dot. However, the heat it discharged began to melt even bricks that had scattered due to the impact of my earlier attacks.

"That?! Herman!!!"

'I knew it, for the first time she called me by name...' I grinned once again and sent the dot of fire off and turned away from it.

~GBOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAMMMMMM!!!~

The entire floor shook aggressively at the impact of the attack with his water fortress, the water fortress scattered and even he was forcefully expelled out of the dungeon as a whole, blasting out of its walls.

~GGRRRRRRGGGHMMMM~

Avery quickly regain her stability as she lost a foot because of the sudden tremor.

"What was that?" She wondered aloud as it caused a short distraction between her conversation with the vassal weapon that floated in front of her, amidst the golden treasures, pieces of jewellery and gems.

The vassal weapon asked.

"I'm not sure if I quite follow your question."

"I don't know if we are saying the same thing, but everyone in this dungeon is on my side."

"I need power," She said.

"I am nothing like that!" Avery yelled in disapproval.

The floating long black spear with a clothe of red flames, swirling around it, slowly floated towards her.

"Yes please!" She shouted again.

"Of course, I won't do such things as judge you." She said sweetly to the spear.

"Yes, ma'am!!" She yelled in response.

Avery's eyes gleamed as she heard those words, she slowly reached out and grabbed the spear.

~Fiisshhhh~

Red-coloured ether slowly slipped out of her body and out of the spear, meeting each other and slipping back into her body.

"I can feel it"

"Ah, before that..." She brought out a pouch and opened it, immediately all the treasures in the room got sucked into the pouch.

"A magic item that has subspace storage. It's called inventory bag"

She responded after Avery.

~TREMBLE~

"Ah! I forgot the dungeon crumbles after the vassal weapon is taken." She said and hurriedly made way for the door.

Upon feeling the sudden tremor.

"It seems my work here is done."

"Will you tell me how you know about ars elementum impetum?!"

"Let's talk when we are done with all this," I said, with the thought of it, the golden mask on my face opened and reduced down to my neck. I looked around and as the door opened I smiled.

"Teleportation..."

I wasn't ready to risk anyone seeing me or asking me questions. 'Since I'm going to the capital it will be a long time before we get to see each other, I hope you achieve your dream' I said in my thoughts as I watched her happily come out of the room with a black spear. My scenery changed completely as I disappeared from the dungeon and appeared back in my initial location.

However, the situation that was unveiled before my eyes was not at all pleasing.
