Natasha sat in front of the mirror,admiring the handiwork of her make up artist. She looked beautiful! It was after all ,expected of the daughter of the richest man in the city. Her wedding would have to be glamorous. She was sure her father would still complain about something,though. So,she had to have the perfect smile on her face. An undetectable one.
She was busy doing this when her friend,Stella barged in.
"You know we can still run away,right?" Stella said making the workers gape at her.
'What was wrong with her? Why would she advice her to run away from the perfect alliance? Was she jealous?The groom was,after all, a good catch.'The workers thought to themselves.
"You can leave now."Natasha told them. She wanted to be left alone with her friend.
"Why aren't we making our get away plan right now?"Stella said surprised at how calm Natasha looked
"Why would I run away from my wedding? "
"Huh,let me think..Maybe because he's a self centered , conniving asshole who I'm sure doesn't even know how to treat a lady right."
"How can you be so sure?"
'How could she be?'She asked herself. She just had a really bad feeling about him.
"I just get that vibe from him."
"Vibe? I'm not basing my future on a vibe you got from someone you don't even know."
"And you do?"
"I will get to know him."
"Natasha , that's not how marriage works."
"In my life,it is. " She said with resignation evident in her voice.
"So, that's it ? You're just going to let your father win?" Stella couldn't believe this .She was just going to let him win without putting up a fight. That didn't sound like Natasha. She doesn't give up .If she was planning on giving up now,she wouldn't let her. No,she wouldn't let her.
"He already has. Didn't you see how guarded this place is ? There is no escape and even if,by some miracle ,I do manage to escape I'm afraid of what he'll do to Jonas."
"The kid at the orphanage with autism?"
"Would you stop referring to him like that ? It's rude."
"Fine, I'm sorry." Stella understood her now. She was sure her father could go as far as locking the poor boy up or even killing him if she managed to escape.
"So,this is it? Do I even get to see you after your wedding or is Mr.Scumbag going to try and and stop me?"
"I don't know..... Isn't the weather just perfect today. I hope it rains. Maybe at night?It would make my wedding night more special, don't you think?"
"Eeeww..why would you put that image in my head? Trying to change the subject? Don't even try to pretend like you're looking forward to this."
"But,I am."
"Who are you telling that to?Me or yourself? I saw how you reacted to him simply hugging you .Tasha ,you cringed and all he did was hug you. How would you react when he has his hands all over you ?.." Stella couldn't go on because Natasha suddenly burst into tears. Stella felt heart broken seeing her so hopeless.
"Stella..."
She was cut short by her father's sudden presence.
"What is going on here? Are you crying?You pathetic idiot.Don't you know that will ruin your makeup or are you too daft to figure that out?"
"I'm sorry,father."
Andrew was about to chastise his daughter again. when he heard the sound of something crashing.
"Boss,we have an intruder."
